Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean, as was the fitness facility. Breakfast was very good, too.

Quiet Hotel But Beware There's Construction Going

Pros: The size of the room, nice amenities like a pool, free breakfast, 24 hour free coffee
Cons: Accessibility, noise reducing curtains we were able to hear large trucks on the highway in this corner room.
Location: Love the restaurants close by, the proximity to Cowtown Rodeo
I requested a King accessible room, I have mobility issues. When I called to confirm the night before our stay "Michael" asked if I needed a room with a roll in shower or tub with a bench. I usually do the roll in shower but thought I'd try the shower seat, after one reminder at the front desk and 2 calls the bench never made it. Showering was a horrifying experience. The height of the bed for an "accessible room" was unbelievable and very dangerous for me to get in and out of.If that's their idea of accessible then Hampton needs to hire someone who is disabled to help them understand the real life struggles.

While our location is ideally located near many area attractions, we understand that there can sometimes be noise from nearby traffic. Michael and the front desk team usually deliver on most guest requests. However, we would like to sincerely apologize for not delivering the promised shower bench. When you make a special request and do not receive it promptly, please do not hesitate to call us. Lastly, our ADA compliant room standards are set and inspected by Hilton. We are very sorry you felt our accommodations were not up to par. You comments are very much appreciated as we want every guest to feel comfortable at our property. We will use your feedback to do a better job learning the needs of our guests upon check in and seeing those requests through the entirety of their stay.

The hotel was nice and very comfortable. I thought it was a bit overpriced, however. The breakfast could have been better.

Needs Work

Pros: Good location.
Cons: We were told that renovations had started on the top floor, but that they were going along very slowly.
We had reported that the holder for the shower head was not fastened to the wall correctly, but it was never fixed. The next day, the shower head fell on me during a shower. Also, the room was not made up correctly after our first night there. To their credit, they did comp one night's stay.

Wish it had been what we expected

Sadly, the mold in the shower was so off-putting that we will not return to this hotel. The doors to the shower did not fully close and all the lower/floor seams were black with mold, including the drain area. We own an inn in Maine and know very well what it takes to keep a public place clean. This was atrocious on our scale of cleanliness.
