I was jealous of the people staying on the fancier side, but we were beyond happy with the older side, which had no stairs and was perfect for our mini pig, who we were able to bring for an extra fee. This home was Perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of parking, and close to Brevard and other fun things to do like white water kyacking! Everyone really enjoyed their stay! It is an incredible house, perfect for large groups. The house had everything we needed to make group meals and plenty of space for all 18 of us, each couple even had their own room. The location was ideal for everything our group wanted to do: trail running, hiking, mountain biking, gravel biking, waterfalls, and going out to dinner in Brevard. Would highly recommend if you have a large group and want somewhere with beautiful scenery and is close to lots of activities. ##### Josh P. The two house layout let the younger members of the family have quiet away from the older group, which was great. The houses were perfectly suited for us. We prepared meals and ate together in the big house. The views from the deck were gorgeous, and a great place for coffee in the morning or bourbon in the evening. There were two grills for cooking outdoors, and a well stocked fire pit, which was nice. We were also close enough to town for supplies, and close to different attractions - especially Dupont/Pisgah Forests for hiking. Chimney Rock was also less than an hour away.
