Hotel not looking like the pictures

Pros: breakfast
Cons: cleaning ,enforcing the rues at the swimming pool
Location: close to nothing
We got there last week, and stayed 2 nights, staff was very nice, lobby and breakfast area looking good. Breakfast was good .Our room smelled like mold, HVAC very noisy. At night and during the day they were painting the hallways. This hotel has a great location but is not well maintained. Cleaning crew came took the trash but didn’t bother to vacuum or do the beds. The swimming pool is nice and clean but the two nights there was a big group of African Americans (trying not to offend everyone) there was one who teaching the others how to swim , they were jumping and splashing us ,like they were the only ones in the pool. And had their clothes on. Check out was very easy and fast. So don’t be fooled by the pictures as the hotel doesn’t look like in the pics.

Needs major improvement

The hotel looks rundown that could need major facelift. They make the front attractive w/ christmas lights & having a recreation area but the inside area looks very old especially the bathroom. I asked the Receptionist if there's no exhaust fan in all toilet, thinking that maybe they gave me the worst room for getting it cheap from Expedia. She said its hidden w/c is bs...

Friendly staff but they were very busy and didn't keep up with the breakfast each morning. You only had until 9am before they quit serving and it ran out many times while we were there. The rooms were as expected.

See you again

I was geeted, even as a late night check-in, with a smiling friendly staff member. My room didn't smell good, but was at a nice temperature. As I would discover later, the lower the thermostat the less musty and humid the room was. The chair in my room was hard to sit in but nice to look at. The bed was clean and very comfortable. From my balcony there was a view of the water, and a breeze blowing through the room. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the shower had good water pressure. The hot breakfast was wonderful. The dining area was spacious and had plenty of seating. The housekeeping staff as well as the check-out staff were very friendly. Overall, a great experience for the value. I definetley stay there again.

Great hotel

I stay here every time I come to Pensacola, it's a great and quiet hotel that's very comfortable and doesn't break the bank.

Old hotel that has been patchily remodeled with some strange decor choices. Overlooks Pensacola Bay. Clean and comfortable, but very humid.

GREAT STAY.

LOVE this hotel. Now that we live closer to the beach we will definitely be staying here again! The staff was so friendly, the breakfast was GREAT, the rooms were very nice! The only thing inconvenient was the wifi was pretty sucky and I couldn't check my email when I needed to. But overall GREAT stay. Not too far from the beach but far enough to have access to a larger town with a great mall nearby. Definitely recommend.
