Checked in hotel. It was much older and has not been not renovated. Nice Man rode elevator with us. He Got off on same floor as us and looked suspicious, like it wasn’t his floor. He knocked on a door like he was going to a room, but never called a name and never went in, he just hung out in the hall and kept watching us and taking notice of our room number. We went in the room, told front desk…they were very nice and said they would check it out, but the man disappeared. Being two females traveling alone, we decided not to stay in this hotel. We didn’t get our money back, but we didn’t feel safe. Not a great area!

Great staff, but probably wont stay again.
The staff was AMAZING! Super friendly and willing to help. Slight hiccup at check in. Given a key to room that didnt work, went back to desk, was told that was the wrong room they wrote down. Gave me new room number, key didnt work. Went back down to desk and they came up personally, second room wasnt cleaned yet...had to put us in third room. Unfortunately, wife found quick moving roaches in room next day, and we were moved then to a fourth room that was clean, but the window was broke...wouldnt stay open. Staff was so friendly and accomadating and helpful. Unfortunately, probably wont stay there again with the other issues. Mainly the bugs.

Yes, we have a new mobile key system, and we still have some training to do but you should have not been caught up in our training. We have informed our Pest Control company of your sighting and they have cleared the room for a new guest. My top 3 complaints are the horrendous smell (dank), very outdated, and stains in several areas. Eventhough the room was tidy I found stains from food splatters, filth on light switches and baseboards, and scuff marks on doors and walls. The furniture/some of the appliances definitely need replacing. After finding a stain on a wash towel I decided to leave and shower at home. The staff was nice however.

Ideally located for easy access to beaches, highways, dining, shopping etc. The full kitchenette made it easy for coffee, teas meals and the friendly staff for making the stay very comfortable. The complimentary breakfasts and all day coffee made life a breeze. Thanks for everything, manager Kathy ensured that we were quite comfortable with everything. The exercise room was just what we needed also. Big Thank You again to management and teams.

Cons: Microwave in the room did a shoddy job. Dishwasher leaked all on the floor, as did the shower and tub. Floors were filthy in the room; our kids' feet were black after walking around for 20 minutes. A/c was a hit and miss. It would be hot and stifling one hour, freezing the next. Didn't seem to have a happy medium. People were smoking marijuana outside the front entrance and you could smell it in the hallways. Walls are thin. Room was smaller than anticipated and felt very cramped. Internet was definitely not the greatest. Pros: Breakfast had a variety of things to choose from. Only slight downside is they didn't seem to have enough milks out; either that or they didn't restock very often. The employees were friendly anytime we crossed paths and they left us a note letting us know they ran out of towels, so we knew they didn't ignore us. Despite being right off a busy street, it was overall quiet at night. I wouldn't stay here again, I felt like it was too small and honestly didn't live up to Marriott standards. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

True disappointment
Never will I stay here again. The Marriott should be ashamed of this dated dwelling, how deceitful!! My reservations were in correct making me ( the customer) inconvenienced. The entire hotel is dated, my room was not up to par in cleanliness and breafast was not worthy to even attend.I am just completely disappointed.

We were not able to offer you a midnight check in as we were still on Friday night, but I am glad that you were able to check in at 2AM instead of our 4pm check in and that we were able to offer you a late check out on Sunday. I appreciate you letting me know that your room was not cleaned up to Marriott standards and we will be sure to address your concerns with our housekeeping department. I wish that I had known that you found our breakfast not worthy to attend so that I could have addressed your concerns when you checked out with me on Sunday. We want all of our guest to experience and warm, clean, comfortable stay with a nice hearty breakfast and I apologize that we failed, in your case, to do so. Overall I would go back. The only problem we had was the ac would not go down so most of the time we were hot People were very friendly and rooms were clean.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay especially the friendly staff! Breakfast was great as the Attendant went above and beyond to assist guests! Check-in was easy and smooth! My room was clean and fully stocked! I'll definitely recommend and return here soon!

All the staff were friendly and always asking whether there was anything I needed. The general manager has created an environment which fosters respect, consideration and well-being for staff and guests. It may not be the swankiest of hotels but it is the most welcoming and provides all that is necessary for a most pleasant stay!!

Awesome stay
Front desk was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Room was perfect for my needs (microwave, cups, plates, bowls etc…) Very clean room and comfortable bed. It was a pleasant stay overnight and got a good night sleep. Drove from Houston to Palmetto. Highly recommended!

We have been traveling from AZ to end up in Sarasota, FL. Worst hotel we have stayed at for our trip. Definitely mot worth the price. With this being a Marriott property i expected better. The staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was terrible. Breakfast started at 6:30 a.m and we were down there at 6:33. They were already out of the Breakfast sandwiches. Had to wait for more. Couldn't wait to leave

Nice property and the night clerk (I wish I remembered her name) was fantastic! Good breakfast, loved the waffles. Comfy beds but room darkening curtain was broken but hair clips did the trick. I would stay again.
