To Loud And Didn't Get The Room We Paid For

Pros: Close to SOEC and great pub.
Cons: WIFI
Location: Good location to walk to concerts.
I paid for a second floor room, but instead we got a room on the main floor at the bottom of the stairwell. It was SO loud. WIFI wouldn't work on any of our devices and the strength was so low. The neighbours had loud music on ALL night until 5am. We ended up leaving at 7am because it was so unenjoyable. The room was decent but would recommend not stay in a room near the stairwell.

Great Reception

Location: The Villa Rosa is a fantastic Italian restaurant....... they made one of favourite dishes even though it was not on the menu and it was excellent.
The young lady who greeted and checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful. She provided us with a full list of recommend restaurants in and around Penticton. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Lovely hotel and very pleasant staff. Reasonable prices, comfy beds. Quiet area. Pets are welcome and receive a Welcome gift. We will stay here again next time we are in Penticton.

From the people at the desk to the housekeepers, amazing!!!!!!!!!! When I lived in Penticton my Mom stayed at your hotel and loved it.

Brand new, with flaws.

Just stayed at the new wing of the hotel. Finishings are poorly done, cracks, dents, chips ect... As far as we could figure there was no way to turn off the outside deck light and the blinds were just mesh. So we were up with the sun and my husband put a shirt over the light. For the price you pay, no breakfast is included, which now a days is standard. Our biggest disappointments were having to pay for parking each day, and the $10 coupon for going "green" (no house keeping) was only good on one of the days we stayed, and we were going to use it on the second day but was quickly snatched from us from the front desk clerk. (after having to use hand soap to wash my hair in the morning.) The new wing does not have much view of the lake. Mostly the park and all those loitering in it. So we felt they were nickel and diming us, perhaps the old part of the hotel is worth the money, the new definitely is not.
