Great hotel to Coyotes Hockey Team and concerts

Our room was nice and cool. Really important here in the Phoenix area. The breakfast buffet was the best! They had the freshest fruit we've ever seen and they'll even make you a fresh omelette!

Close to concert arena

Pros: Location
Cons: Humidity smell in room
Location: Cabela's and the outlets were nearby, making this a great location for shopping, food, and entertainment.
We picked this hotel because it's literally less than 100 yards from the Gila River Arena where we were attending a concert. In addition, Cabela's and the outlets were nearby, making this a great location for shopping, food, and entertainment. The only downside was the dampness in our hotel room from the air conditioning necessary in the July heat. Even though it was set to a comfortable 70 degrees, the room felt slightly humid, resulting in a musty smell on bedding.

nice hotel, the room decor, etc is a bit outdated.

Cons: update the rooms
they didn't have the king bed room we booked back in april. We were checking in at 4pm, but were told the room was not available and may not be for five minutes or two hours!! We settled on a two queen bed room. For our inconvenience the hotel gave us free parking in their structure that is normally $15 per night.

I would recommend this hotel. We are frequent guests while visiting family in Sun City. Easy on off from the 101. Food and bar very good and convent.

Walking distance to Westgate mall.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Room was clean and well-maintained. We did not use the facilities or visit the restaurants. Restaurant seemed a little expensive. Only downside is that you have to pay for Wi-Fi and for parking. Valet service is included in that fee. Overall it was very enjoyable.

Unsatisfactory Service

When the room was booked it said King or 2 Full Beds, it would not let me choose one or the other so when I put in my preferences I listed 2 Full Beds. We arrived at the hotel early for an event being held at the hotel so I when I went to check in and she said they could not accommodate my preferences I was not happy, if I showed up late that night I would've expected to receive whatever was leftover. She did tell us we could get a roll away and they would send it right up. I waited about an hour and a half and they never sent up a roll away so I called again and they said they would send it up right away again. We waited about 2 hours and never got a roll away, I called again and nothing ever showed up. I eventually gave up. The restaurants nearby and hotel were convenient for the event we were attending but the service for the price was not acceptable. We were also charged extra for parking at the hotel which I also thought was ridiculous.
