Hotel was OK but go elsewhere for this price

I have stayed at numerous Courtyards and am always happy with the stay. This time, I was quite disappointed! Upon walking into our room, it smelled very bad. We walked around and found dryer sheets pushed into half of the vents in both air conditioning units! Really? After pulling the sofa bed out and putting the sheets provided (that were way to big) for it and finally realizing there was no blanket or pillow for it. We had to take a pillow off of the big bed. The bathroom was dimly lit and had ants in quite a few different places. As the bed is always comfortable, the closeness to the interstate made it hard to sleep. The air did not work on AUTO so we had to switch it to on, to drown out the sound of the interstate, which by the morning made the room freezing. Overall for the crazy price we paid for this room, I was extremely extremely disappointed.

I’ve stayed at courtyards before so I thought I knew I could count on this to be right. The room had ants in it, at times quite a few. When we arrived, there were dryer sheets pushed into half the slots of both air conditioners! The bathroom was extremely dull and hard to see. The pull out bed only had a sheet no comforter or balanks. You can hear the traffic from the interstate pretty bad. Overall the room was updated but still not Great.

Just Ok

Clean remodeled hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are nice enough, but... We were put in a 1st floor room that had a door (locked) to the adjoining room and it was super loud in terms of hearing our neighbors clearly right through it. I've seen these of course in other hotels, and it's very annoying if you're placed next to people who don't travel frequently and use normal volume speaking / door slamming while you're trying to relax / sleep. The hotel was super crowded with the meeting room rented and many kids using the pool; seemed like a few youth sports teams had booked that night. Lobby and parking lot were slammed. South entrance door sticks open and didn't always latch. Our sink was leaking slow drip style on the carpet, and the plumbing was filthy underneath. Finally, this hotel is in a cluster sandwiched between the highway and a large mall parking lot off a poorly lit pothole filled service road. It was odd to say the least. We do a lot of business travel and have had worse stays, but at this price point expected a little better.

Disappointed

I have stayed in a few Courtyards and haven't had a bad experience, but I was a little disappointed in this one. My room had a musty smell and just generally didn't seem very clean. Also, the mattress cover was this skimpy thing which barely covered the mattress top, which I find to be unsanitary. The staff was all friendly and did their job well, but their professional appearance was not great (front desk staff). I went to the bistro one night for dinner and they were out of so many things and was training the other girl on the fly. Another guest was trying to order a drink and the poor bartender couldn't make any of the ones that she was ordering as they didn't have the ingredients. Both people working were super nice and great, they just couldn't do their job with a poorly stocked kitchen/bar.

Clean/modern basic hotel

Clean hotel with modern decor. No free breakfast but the breakfast options (for purchase) at the Starbucks in the lobby were delicious! Staff at front desk seemed to need more training. Not a smooth check-in but it eventually worked. Room was clean & comfy. Walls must be thin because our neighbors had a loud arguement at 2AM that kept us up for a while. Location is not exactly attractive.. near a mall & the highway right next door to 2 other hotels.

Courtyard by Marriott Review

The location is tricky to find if you don't use GPS as it is located behind the mall. The hotel staff was extremely professional and friendly. Very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again.

This is my second time at this hotel. The first time it was an ok room & stay, but this time was horrible! I guess every decided to be careless for the holidays. My bathroom floor was sticky, and the room was freezing when i came in it. They double charged me for a room even though I told them it was already paid for! Then when I brought it to the front desk associate attention she didnt know how to fix it! Christmas sucked for me this year. I spent most of the morning in the lobby trying to get my money back!

Greeted at the door, staff was friendly & helpful. Room was nice, clean & bed was very comfortable (I have back trouble). Pool area & common area were clean & welcoming!
