Great Buffet and RoomsPosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: The breakfast buffet. The Pecan Waffles are delicious. There is a selection of coffees and juices, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and fresh fruit.
Cons: They have a fitness center but no pool or hot tub. Parking is somewhat limited
Spent a couple of nights working downtown. The location is perfect if you need to be downtown. Parking is somewhat limited. They have an option for a breakfast buffet. The Pecan Waffles are delicious. There is a selection of coffees and juices, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and fresh fruit. They have a fitness center but no pool or hot tub. I would stay here again.

I do not believe this stay was worth $170 dollars despite its proximity to the civic center, free drinks, or a breakfast. The room was small, uncomfortable, and the value was not there. I would not recommend this even for $100. Been to $60 hotels nicer than this.

Downtown in PeoriaPosted Sep 23, 2015
I was very impressed by the Mark Twain hotel--the hotel has character and a great location. I very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with made-to-order eggs and waffles.

perfect location, spacious and updatedPosted Aug 26, 2015
Cons: The coffee in the breakfast room was dreadful: some unidentifiable but unpleasant flavor and not particularly hot.
Location: Near the center of everything Peoria has to offer!
We need to make periodic business visits to Peoria and have found that both the hotel and its restaurant are absolutely perfect for our needs. Our room was spacious by any standards, the value was the best in the area, the amenities were superb (small fridge and microwave plus coffee maker, excellent A/C), the view of the Illinois River was a lovely bonus, the breakfast far exceeded what one gets in any lower-priced American hotel known to me. When we return to Peoria we will look no further. Ah, yes: the welcome at the front desk on check-in was exceptional even though it was 1 am! Ample free parking and free internet.
