Sunday to Thursday visit in Pekin

Pros: The lady at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, and it was really nice to have access to an indoor pool.
Location: Avanti's right next door! Great Gondola sandwiches at a bargain price!
We were in town visiting family members. Our suite was large and comfortable. We really appreciated being able to wash clothes on site.

The sheets on the bed were dirty. The cleaning staff left someones socks in the bed. The room smelled foul.

Pros: Location
Cons: Only had smoking rooms left, so it did have an odor...not their fault, busy weekend.
Great value, located near several restaurants and shopping areas. Hotel employees were very nice and courteous.

Nice room, nice people.

Clerk had some problems getting credit card charged. Not her fault and she was very accommodating. Toilet was a little dated and sink faucet put out a very small amount of water at very high pressure, but other than that it was all good.

Pros: Easy parking and cleaning staff was very friendly.
Cons: I called the day before we were to be there and we paid an extra ten dollars for early arrival which means we can arrive at 1pm instead of 3pm. We arrived at 1:15 and told the manager we wanted to check in. She said "I don't know if it's clean yet". I told her the day before that I had called about early arrival. I said "If it's not ready we'll go somewhere else". She snapped back "Go ahead I don't care". Apparently she doesn't keep up with what's going on. I talked to the maid as we were going to our room and she said that was the first room she cleaned.
Location: We were there for a funeral not for pleasure.

Dear valued guest, your reservation was made through a third party provider. It was not the hotel that you spoke to the day before your arrival. It seems you misunderstood my response. I kindly asked you to wait one moment, while i check to make sure your room was ready. It was ready. We checked you in , & got you right in to your reserved room. We are sorry you were here under such trying circumstances.

We were only in town for overnight due to a funeral. The room was fair, but every time you sat or moved on the bed it squeaked. There were plenty of restaurants in the town.

ok, needs help

it was fine, keys didn't work but sporadically, our friend had to be locked in his room because there was no key to get him back in. they did call maintenance but not available till next day. the sink in our room was clogged, making emptying very slow. need more towels in room. however the staff were super nice. not my first choice to stay again if I have to go to area.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We have ordered new locks for the door. They are scheduled to arrive today. Once a guests reports any drain issues, we have our maintenance person address that issue by snaking all drains in the room. We have resolved all issues. Please feel free to call the front desk any time you are at any hotel, if you would like more linens. Great For Pekin

The room is comfortable but with do not expect luxury.The pool was small but not crowded.The staff is friendly and tried to make us feel welcome.
