“Clean room and great staff”

“This was the most magical place ever! The hotel is small and intimate with only 6 rooms and the owners live on the property, so they bend over backwards to help you or get you anything you need. It felt more like a bed and breakfast with the most gorgeous rooms, an amazing pool, and breathtaking views. We messed up and didn’t rent a car and the owner Raffaele literally came and picked us up. Her also personally brought us to dinner that night! I would definitely have a car while you’re there! I……

The staff in particular were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do any more for us with highly recommend staying here. The food in the restaurant is also very good and we ate here on two evenings. “This hotel is centuries old and is in a beautiful Tuscan setting in a VERY small town. There are no restaurants or shops in this town. The hotel, while serving an excellent European breakfast, does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. If you don't have a car, you're stuck. The first night, we had to hire a cab to take us into Montefollonico. We went to a lovely restaurant (Gobbi 13) and we had a delicious meal, but the cab ride cost us 125 EU. The hotel staff was very sympathetic. ……

Hotel is up around the middle of the town, well located to go up or down and near everything! The room we had was old, crowded and bathroom very tiny, even hard for my husband to fit between the sink and wall to get to the toilet, it’s just that the property is old and not renovated so understandable but because I depend a lot on reviews, I’m telling it like it……
