Not like the picture

Using a swiffer sweeper in the common walk ares is nice but what about behind the bathroom door and under the beds. No remote...no microwave or fridge and no alarm clock. Oh, if it's a non smoking, explain the burn holes in the bedding. Whomever was paid to remodel needs to provide a refund. I almost left but there were no other hotel vacancies in the area. Turn the light off at Motel 6. I won't be back.

Very outdated bed and bathtub was disgusting, not dirty but stained and old, furniture was scarred. Room did not smell fresh but stale and had a terrible odor, walls and door needs painting, dirty and dingy looking.

Lodging of Last Resort

Wi-Fi didn't work, found a (live) roach in our bathroom in the morning. Pool water was green from algae. Fair amount of noise from fellow motel patrons outside in the middle of the night. Broken ice machine. Truth be told this is likely what you get for about $50 a night: a roof, a door that locks, a toilet that flushes / water comes out of the sink. From that perspective it was fine. Also, the woman at the front desk was very nice and professional. Again, the rooms (we had two adjoining rooms for the five of us ... me, my wife and our three kids) didn't smell badly, but the overall aura was "these rooms are not adequately cleaned." The kids wanted to sleep in their clothes and no one showered in the morning . . . we just got out as fast as we could. We were driving back from Florida to the Midwest and couldn't find lodging anywhere else for many miles. I imagine the owners aren't making a killing with this kind of property in this particular town, but the place needs an intervention/renovation badly.

The linens were filthy with random hairs on them, and minute bugs woke both me & my fiancé multiple time throughout the night... I definitely would avoid this stop in the future, regardless of the affordability-- pay $10 more & go elsewhere!
