Good place to stay

We had a good experience at this hotel. Easy check in, no wait. Very quiet, restful, night. Air conditioner was not loud. The breakfast was better than most, with several choices.

Waited too long for check in. Room flooded and only the friendly housekeepers cared. asked for more towels was told to go find the housekeepers. Really. Wi Fi didn't work. Not good with teenage kids

Pros: The location to food and fair.
Cons: Remodeling rooms.
Location: Great location out of traffic of the fair. Great place around resturants.
Nice location to the fair. Room needs a cleaner presence. The room smelled stuff.

Pros: Nothing - there are many other hotels in the vicinity to choose from
Cons: Clean the place!
The room smelled of mildew, was old, out-dated and not clean. The door had a gap around it where the sun shined through!

Old facility that jacked up rates for the event. Comfortable and quiet.

Pros: clean sheets
We have been making our trip from home to our winter residence since 2001. We have stayed in this facility every Fall when we make the trip. We stayed here when it was a Holiday Inn and now that it is a Ramada Inn. This visit we experienced a problem when we entered the room. There was a large stain on the carpet. The hot water in bathroom sink was dripping water, rather a steady running. I attempted to shut it off by turning the water supply, but I was not able to stop the flow. There were four lights in the room and only two would lite. When checking out I advised the clerk about the water and she responded, "yes I know and have a plumber on call". It would been help full if we were told about the defect when we checked-in. It is obvious that there are upgrades going on, but I am not sure we can wait for the completion.

disappointing to say the least

Cons: room maintenance, hotel looks rundown. over all the way they handled issues staff wise. and breakfast had no fruits and food did not look appetizing.
Location: location is great, very close to fairgrounds
From check in things went down hill.. Rooms ( I rented two connecting rms.) did not have the beds we requested to spite the fact that there were only four cars in the parking lot. came back to the rooms that evening to find out that locks on doors wouldn't work and after 40 mins. or so of having my wife, daughter, and 18 month granddaughter stand in the haul way they then proceeded to tell me we would have to stay in two rms. that would not connect. ( once again only 4 cars in the lot) The shower had standing water in it and the breakfast was not worth eating. Over all not the experience we had paid for.

I was not pleased with the rundown condition of the room. We were given a room on the backside of the hotel where we were concerned about our safety. The beds were not comfortable and when we arrived there was no air conditioning on in the room and it took several hours for the room to get cool enough to sleep. Thankfully we were just passing thru on our way to the beach. I was very pleasantly surprised however with the breakfast buffet.

The most disgusting room I've ever had.

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: nothing, I would like a refund.
Cons: needs to be gutted and start again, I have pictures but no way to attach as I'm traveling.
Location: okay, several places to eat
Tub in bathroom was so bad with old scum I didn't use. Toilet rocked so much thought it may come out of floor. Wall paper off under sink, mildew ridden. Floor tiles moved when stepped on. Sink pitted and not clean behind faucets. I suggested at checkout that they not use room 330 until it's been renovated. Never did the clerk say "I'm sorry" or offer any compensation. Was given a Days Inn room when I had booked a Ramada. The whole experience was not very good.

I want to thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. I am sorry that it was not up to expectations. We were in the process of doing maintenance and we had several rooms out of order and that is why you were sent over to the days inn. I am sorry that their rooms were in disrepair. I hope that if you are in the area again you will give us another try.
