Comfortable hotel with easy access to amenities.

Pros: We liked the easy access to the Conference Hall, only 8-10 minutes walk away.
Location: Shops, Sports Centre and the Black Watch Poppy display were within walking distance.
We enjoyed our two night stay with breakfast included. There was plenty on offer then for all tastes - I didn't have the courage to try whisky flavoured porridge first thing in the morning! The staff were helpful and friendly.

nice hotel great central location

Pros: Great location mainly, with water features and old mill wheel. Nice friendly staff Quiet. Relaxing.
Cons: Room 115 - TV was on a low down unit so could not watch it from bed.
Location: great location in town centre so plenty shopping and sights
On arrival (late evening) parking was a problem as hotel car park and overflow was full, so had to park in pay and display overnight. Reception was very nice and helpful. First impressions of R115 was quite small for the cost. It was clean, not enough hangers for 2 people, no iron as advertised. TV was low down on a unit and as bed was quite high could not be watched from bed. On second day the room was not visited by cleaners therefore bins not emptied, no dry towels etc. Overall the hotel was lovely and great breakfast and staff.

Good city centre break.

Nice room. Maybe in future could do with renovation. Lobby and bar area excellent. Breakfast was an expensive option.

nice one night stay. excellent position for catching transport to perth races. buses to Dunkeld etc. would stay again.

Overnight business stay very disappointed that there was no water pressure in the morning and as a result no working shower.

Overall ok hotel. Not a thrill but nothing really bad either. Floor squeaky, weak shower. Good breakfast.

One night single stay

Not sure if it was due to me booking a large single room, but was very disappointed with what I got for my money. The corridor to the rooms must be beside the bins as it smelled rank, the room itself was past tired, in fact it was past knackered. The brief exchanges with staff were pleasant, but without a doubt, next time I'm staying over for a night in Perth, it will be in the Travel Lodge. Sorry Mercure, stayed with you a while ago and had no complaints then, but I guess I had a better room

Avoid worn out hotel in a poor standard but nice s

Found room to be in a unsafe and dangerous condition, I had to remove the fuse from the Iron / T press as the cable was through to its cores. In general the room was worn out have a look at my photos.Bath was also worn out and shower was poor.Single glazed windows so you hear guests dragging their bags over the cobbles outside as well as road noise. The hotel had to hard neck to offer this at a special rate of £75 per night.Reception area seemed nice. Breakfast was poor.
