Large spacious one bedroom apartment with cooking and washing facilities. Centrally located to the CBD malls - literally 2 minutes walk from the front door. Numerous options for dining within very easy walking distance. An easy walk straight down Barrack Street to the piers and ferries on the Swan River. The room was well appointed with reasonable quality furniture. My only critiques for the room were that the bed was quite hard and the shower was located over the bath - these are simply personal dislikes and do not detract from the room overall.

Great location for everything in Perth.Posted May 2, 2017
Good spot for just about everything close by. Quiet location. Found the rooms to be too warm unless air conditioner was on, but this is just me I need fresh air. Parking no problems with a fee. Railway station close by, access to Fremantle cruise and tours a short walk. All in all I would stay again.

Very close to the shopping areaPosted Apr 21, 2017
Location is good and it's near the shopping area. Within 5 mins walking distance. Barrack jetty is 10 mins walk to. I have booked a one bedroom studio apartment. It's huge and comes with a balcony. There is self laundry available within the apartment but no washing powder provided. There is kitchen and cooking equipments are all available. Proper dinning table and sofa. However, the lights are not bright enough in the apartment.

Centrally located, spacious, needs refurbishmentPosted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Location location location. Great front desk staff.
Cons: Rooms, bathrooms and kitchens needs refurbishment. Cleaning staff needs to be reminded that their job is to clean the rooms.
Location: All the free city busses are very close. Very close to the station and malls, cafes, restaurants and bars. Great location.
This hotel is very central to the city and close to the free city bus stops. It's on barrack streets around lots of shopping, cafe's and bars etc. The check in was very smooth and the front desk staff is brilliant and the only reason I would be comfortable recommending this hotel. They got us checked in early and helped with everything needed quickly. Very responsive. The cleaning of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired and I wasn't the only one having this problems. There were other people complaining to the front desk as well. The beds are left unmade, the floor dirty and very superficial cleaning. The hotel is aging and can be seen in the bathrooms and the kitchen. The bathroom fixtures are really old and need a good clean or changing. I had to wake up and chase small cockroaches every morning and this was with us leaving the kitchen really clean at night. The TV cable is not that great and don't get great free channels.

Sleazy Part of CityPosted Apr 11, 2017
Pros: Reasonable service.
Cons: Don't take advantage of your guests who booked well in advance at a reasonable premium to put them in the worst room in the hotel
Location: Sleazy part of the city. It is reasonably central to the CBD.
We were given room 1 which faced the main street. There are a number of night clubs opposite the hotel which were playing loud music. The hotel also has adult toy shops. It is a noisy, sleazy part of the city. I wouldn't recommend it.

Dear Chris, Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your recent stay. We allocate our rooms on a random basis or to meet a specific request (high/low floor/east facing etc). Rooms are not allocated on the basis of rate or date of reservation. I am sorry you felt the first room was not up to standards due to the outside influences you mentioned. Our team is here 24/7 to ensure we can assist and resolve issues such as this. For other guests who have read your review I would like to note that there are no nightclubs on Barrack street or near the hotel nor are there adult toy shops within the hotel. We are right in the center of Perth City and are very proud to be popular part of this thriving and vibrant city. Do contact me at the hotel should after you make your next reservation and I shall ensure a complimentary room upgrade if available. Regards, Michael Bird Assistant Hotel Manager
