The room was evidently clean on the tiles and surfaces that would be regularly wiped however the panel around the entry door was very grotty on the inside and there was an overwhelming smell of mould in the room that appeared to be coming from the bathroom where the vanity had clearly been water damaged. Didn't see a staff member so can't comment but received a pleasant text message re check in. Good parking available and very convenient to beach and Hillarys

The noise through the paper thin walls was excessive.I could hear everything the room beside me and below me.It says Ocean view but most rooms have a view of the car park. The kitchen area was terrible,the fridge seals where filthy and the paintwork rusty and flaking.

Very run down. But in excellent location. There was building maintenance ongoing while we were staying there. Wasn’t very clean , room smelled of damp. Would it stay there again until renovations are completed.

In need of general renovation - tired room, no flyscreen on windows, poor quality door lock, electrics need fixing - using kettle and stove top together blows a fuse. No Internet. But clean.

Great Location but .......
We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting friends and family. The location is great with the beach close and up the hill 2mins away are cafes, bakery and other shops. The big disappointment was the run-down state of the place with lots of rust and peeling paint on the exterior. Inside our room was freshly painted but the decor was tired, the mattress was lumpy and creaky and the bathroom was roomy but oh so tired. The vinyl was peeling on the vanity, the chip board shelf had expanded with water damage, the shower was hot but pressure low and the decor was positively 70's

I liked that it was in the area that I grew up in so I was able to walk around and knew where I was going which is important now that I am legally blind. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean, it would have been amazing if there was a microwave in the room as I wasnt aware of anything on the property to be able to use? Otherwise I will be back, it was so peaceful and relaxing which is what I went there for. THANK YOU

Extremely disappointed Gave notice to cancel due to covid Owner refused any kind or refund or credit Kept the whole amount for 4 nights for 2 rooms Would of been happy to receive a credit voucher or pay a $200 fee BUT NO kept the whole amount Will not be staying here ever !!

Hi Michelle, You made a non-refundable booking through online booking agency. You had a option to make standard booking which is 10% more expensive, but you would get full refund. Covid has been around for over 2 years and people take that into count when they travel. You called to cancel 2-3 prior to your arrival never mentioning any vouchers, and I specifically advised you to contact your booking agent straight away, as I can not change your booking without them, but I received message from them 3 days into your stay. Those 2 rooms were empty for all that time. Please contact our reception directly if you need any more explanation regarding this matter. Regards

Comfortable
When I arrived, the room was ready and the man at the counter had me in my room within minutes. He did advise that car parking was a bit short on however I managed to get parking most nights. One issue which is not the problem of the Motel is that people do not consider others when parking often taking up two bays. All in all it was pleasant stay close to most things and a great chance to take walks along the beachfront.

Clean and checkin a breeze
Place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only complain we have is that the walls is very thin and you can hear what is going on nextdoor. Other than that very good service and checkin after hours was a breeze.

The noise was worse than if I stayed in a 20 person dorm room. Every noise can be heard from neighboring rooms and upstairs. Tap noise and fans also extremely loud from next door rooms and above. Car doors slamming all hours of the night. A couple of hours sleep the first two nights, then NO sleep the last night. NOT HAPPY.
