Meets your basic needs with friendly staff

Posted Dec 20, 2016
Great hotel location whether walking/driving/taking the bus. Small hotel with tight parking. Friendly & efficient staff that show good teamwork! Allowed us early checkin. Beds, pillows, baby cot are clean & comfortable. Carpets new & clean. Small bathroom with shower stall. Continental breakfast is fun with an automatic pancake maker. Has guest laundry room.

Good value for money

Posted Dec 6, 2016
Pros: Clean, good value, friendly staff.
The hotel is trying to transform a rather dated building into a "European-style" small hotel with a reasonable degree of success. For the moderate price by Perth standards, one gets spacious rooms, all very clean, comfortable beds and a good continental breakfast. Biggest drawbacks are distance from city centre ( a longish walk but a free city city shuttle departs from outside the hotel frequently) and the lack of a lift. Very European but a bit of a trial. Staff did offer to help carry bags upstairs.

Medical appointments

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Pros: Their rates and free unlimited internet. Very economical for families
Cons: New window dressings are louvers (which look great), old block-out curtains gone. Pending on the way the louvers are closed light gets in of a morn.
Great location as a base to attend medical appointments at PMH, Hollywood Private and clinics on Mount Bay Rd. Fantastic position to access the yellow CAT enabling free transport directly to Perth Train Station, Watertown, City shops etc. Breakfast included is filling and well stocked, dinner meals are simple yet convenient. Free unlimited internet a huge plus! Approx. $35 taxi ride from airport.

3-star motel at 4-star price

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Pros: Convenient location, spacious room, reasonably comfortable bed, some parking available
Cons: Pretty noisy (from TV in adjacent rooms, from road noise, from stairwell), pricy for what it is, parking can be tricky, self-check-in is a bit weird
Self check-in worked fine, although I'd rather talk to a person. The staff in the bar/restaurant were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with room for an entire family (it was just me staying there) – probably handy when travelling with groups. Included simple breakfast is probably handy, but I had to depart before it started at 7am. They know it can be noisy so they provide a little jar full of earplugs. Nice touch, but I'd rather have better insulation between rooms and isolation from street noise (there's a very busy road close by). Onsite parking is available, but it's limited and the carpark at the front of the building is very cramped (the one at the back is better, but not many spaces). On the whole it was fine, but just seemed expensive for what it offered. I've stayed at more comfortable motels for less money and at better hotels for the same money – but maybe Perth is just expensive.

Exceeded expectations.

Posted Sep 29, 2016
Was a pleasant surprise because the price was pretty decent. The room was huge and could actually house up to 4 people to a room, and I had it all to myself. Not too far from the airport. A short drive or a stroll away from the city. The Shell Station next door was a pretty good option of getting bottled water, snacks and stuff since it had Coles Express. The automated check in was impressive but could have been better, thank God for the staff on the phone who were patient and really helpful. They were also really helpful via email. Overall, I was really surprised as it was really good value for money.

Clean and spacious room near to city centre.

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: Spacious room for 4 person.
Cons: Small hose for washing the buttocks
Location: Near to city centre. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel and can hop on free bus to down town. There is Cole express opens 24 hours.
Staff is pleasant. Room is clean and surprised there is ear plug. Parking is limited. Little noisy as it is near to hospital.
