Best hotel in the area

Elegant rooms, comfortable beds, movies to order that are still in theaters, room service, good shower, properly dressed room with free bottled water, good smelling soap, refrigerator, nice view! My favorite hotel in the north bay!

The bed and bedding were so comfortable!! Great location, great space, and exactly what we were looking for and worth the price!

Frigid pool and not friendly staff.

We were told twice via the phone that the outdoor pool was heated. IT was not and freezing! The reason we chose this pool was for our babymoon and that my doctor only recommends swimming due to a complication. Very disappointing and manager did not return phone call.

Club Level was great!

We enjoyed the food in the Club Lounge - turkey and mashed potatoes! Plenty to eat and drink. Room was comfortable, too - great shower, soft bed.

The hotel is a nice marina hotel. The rooms are nice and the lobby is very attractive.

Room OK and service is good. Free Starbucks in the lobby. Had a poor experience at check in but manager corrected situation. Expedia charged more the at the hotel desk upon check in.

Actually the Starbucks in the lobby is not free, but each guest room as a coffee maker and complimentary Starbucks coffee! Expedia prices should be the same as what our front desk is charging!

The hotel pool and marina area is nice but much smaller than it appears in the photos. The front desk staff was not very pleasant. The room was nice - clean and well equipped. Our room however, was next to some loud mechanical equipment that went on and off all night. I expected a quieter room from a brand like Sheraton.

Maybe not the best value

I've stayed here several times before, mostly when quality accommodations closer to the coast were all booked. It's very nice inside, the bed is comfy, and just a short drive to downtown Petaluma restaurants, but the price isn't quite worth it. My recent stay may have me looking elsewhere: Now having to pay to self-park in a fairly empty, uncovered lot (shared with adjacent businesses) far from any attraction (other than the hotel) felt a lot like having to pay to print a boarding pass at the airport. Really? Also we paid extra for a deluxe room with a marina view. The marina is tiny, backed by a drawbridge and the highway, which seemed only marginally better than a view of the pricey parking lot. To boot, we were welcomed by a stack of dirty dishes at the deluxe door.
