excellent location, close to the station, walking distance to most landmarks. very clean and efficient hotel. My room faced the road on 1st floor so occasionaly the street noise was audible. But i would stay here again.

My booking was an emergency on the day, but thankfully the hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. It is walkable to the city centre (around 15 minutes), but there are also good public transport links both to the city centre and to the airport and Palexpo. If you arrive in the evening and need to eat, there's an Italian restaurant a couple of doors down on the corner that does good food. There's also a Japanese restaurant opposite. The only shock I had was the final bill being more than I'd anticipated when I booked, but that's because of city tax being added. Something to allow for in your budget!

Hotel Les Nations
The hotel is just about 15 mins walk from Nations/WIPO. There are frequent bus connections as well to Nations (bus 8 and 11). Gare Cornavin (rly stn) is also within walking distance but if you have luggage then take bus no.8 going the other direction. The City-Centre and Old town are also connected via Bus 8 (stop Metropole). The breakfast is good but you get the same things every day which makes it unattractive from day3 onwards if staying longer. No hot meals in the breakfast - which is also a negative factor. The front desk staff is helpful. All of them speal English otherwise the default language is French. There is an Italian restaurant next door to the left of the hotel, which serves good food (La Perla).

The hotel is in good condition. Fully available by public transportation, nice zone with parks near, walking distance from the major train station of Geneva to go everywhere. Two inconveniences: there’s no air conditioning and you need it in summer. The other is that the hotel doesn’t have a good breakfast option, just the European style: bread and some cold meats and coffee. But, three great options to eat breakfast or dine French style just in the corner.

Visited Geneva for three days and found this hotel perfect as a base for a busy schedule. Very clean and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff and a great location close to the city centre, but just enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will use again if going back to Geneva. Particular bonus points for the kettle in the room, which is unusual outside the UK!

Quiet, clean hotel
Inflated prices due to a business conference running at the convention centre. Assuming you are paying normal prices of around £100 a night, it is a perfectly pleasant hotel. Not luxury but clean, modern, free toiletries, 24 hour reception and nice and quiet. Not in the middle of town but also not far by bus/taxi either.
