It was very clean and neat. Very quiet. The room looked amazing. The 1 thing i didnt like was we got here early and the clwaning woman said our room was clean and no one was in it but qe couldnt get in to it til we got the time changed for our check in. And we drove a long way and was super tired.

The property was clean and quiet. The electricity went out only in my unit at 7am, so I called the number on the office door and texted to report the issue. I in the middle of getting ready for work. I believe the coffee maker caused the issues because it was right after that started the electric went out.

Stayed in Room 1 on 2/18/24. I would have l left a very positive review, but unfortuantely cannot do so. 48 hours after checking out, I found that my torso was COVERED in BEDBUG BITES. I immediately notified Bay Inn by email, but rececived no response. Calling one week later, I was told by an answering service representative (likely based in Asia) that I would have to provide documentation - either pictures of the bedbugs (obviously not possibe as bites never show immediately) or of my body (would involve my stomach, breasts and and buttocks, so obviously refused that). There is no actual person to talk to about this at the property, so no idea if action will have been taken or not. BEWARE! Beyond that (and the murky, cloudy hot tub water), it was lovely.

Loved having our own access from outside. The rooms were in great condition, super cute and comfortable since being renovated. Only complaint is walls are a bit thin, we got stuck with some LOUD neighbors above us. It sounded like they had a big dog that they were playing fetch with and running around. It did not impede our stay, and we also heard no other neighbors.... otherwise excellent all around!! We stayed here to go skiing st Boyne. An easy 20-minute drive with shopping and restaurants in between.

A very cute and comfortable place to stay in Petoskey. It was very nicely decorated and had everything you need for a night stay including a hot tub which was a nice addition after a day on the hill. It was a little noisy with the traffic and hearing people through the walls but this was transparent during booking. I would definitely stay again.

The renovation of the rooms is lovely, comfortable and clean. The check-in process is too exact for travelers. Waiting until 4pm exactly. It seems that the code should be ready once the rooms are clean. For the hot tub, may I suggestion, added a fence around them? Maybe a bench to put towels on with wooden hooks on the bench. We travel to Petoskey a lot due to living on an island and this was our first time. Very conveniently located.

They didn't provide sheets for the pull out bed, even after notifying the property that it was missing the first night. The heat didn't seem to want to go above 62 degrees. The accommodation was nice otherwise, but one of our party members did find ants in the bathroom.

The room is simple and comfortable for sleeping. It was just as described, which is refreshing. The water pressure in the shower of our room was quite low and that required some patience, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, we were satisfied with the room as a place to crash between days skiing

Hotel gives the same door lock code to all guests
The room was small but for the price it was decent. Biggest flaw to me was there isn't a on site receptionist therefore we had random people in the middle of the night and early morning entering our room. I'm positive they give out the same code for all the rooms otherwise the people entering my room wouldn't of had access. I messaged the hotel regarding this issue and still have yet to receive a response

Great Petoskey Stay!
Great place to stay to explore Petoskey area. Clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay! Would definitely choose to stay here when returning to the area.
