Deborah, the owner is so accommodating and kind! We had the comfiest and cutest room and in the morning we had the most delicious full breakfast made with local ingredients :) Can't wait to come back!

B & B Stay

Posted Aug 19, 2013
Our stay at the B & B was great. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it met our needs. One of the best parts is the proximity to the shops and restaurants. Everything was so close including the water and beach. Our room was very comfortable and the common areas were bright and cheerful. The innkeeper was very sweet and made sure that we had whatever we might have needed. She was friendly to speak with and was able to provide us with exceptional recommendations for restaurants for eating. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Dirty porch
Location: Great location
The porch of the house wasn't clean. Leaves, spider webs, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks. The carpeting on the stairway needed cleaning, too. The room itself was very clean. The location was great.

Great location in Charlevoix

Posted Jul 21, 2010
We were able to get an upgrade to a larger room at no extra charge with a closet to hang our clothing. The room was very large and the a/c in whole inn was great, we were there during an unusual July heat wave for northern Michigan. There is a small beach at the end of street, steps down to beach, on lake Michigan. Great location, right in town. Dining tips, The Weathervane, right next door, also in Charlevoix the Gray Gables, and in Bay View, a 20 minute drive,, The Terrace Inn, request a table on the terrace and watch the sunset over Little Traverse Bay, excellent white fish at all 3, a Michigan treat! We would stay there again for sure.
