Crooked Lake Waterfront Log Cabin

Beachfront cabin for sun and fun
This cozy, rustic, log cabin sits just a few yards from Crooked Lake. With one bedroom (full-size bed) and a pullout couch (queen-sized bed) in the living area, this is the ideal up-north getaway for a couple or small family. Located just minutes from Petoskey and Harbor Springs, this is a great, central location up north, and on the water. This is one of several cabins and cottages that share appx 200' of waterfront. Small bathroom. This is one of the only cottages in the association with central heat and a washer and dryer for guests. Dockage available for smaller craft and at a small surcharge. Please inquire prior to scheduling your stay/bringing your boat. At 350 SF, this is a cozy place, but it features an idyllic setting enjoying incredible sunrises, and great sun throughout the day. No A/C, but great lake breezes. Unlike some options in the area, we provide a full sized refrigerator, stove top for cooking, and a gas furnace. A bike path that connects Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, this area, and north towards Mackinaw is just steps away--great for biking, running, or walking. In the winter, that same pathway is open to snowmobiles! You can get from here to Moosejaw and/or all points further north!Crooked Lake is a great all-sports lake with ample year-round fishing, great waterskiing, and lots of areas to explore. Crooked Lake is part of the inland waterway that connects to Lake Huron through Burt and Mullett Lakes. It is a great lake for kayaking, paddleboarding, or just boating and swimming. Day trips to Mackinaw Island, golfing, or skiing are all close and easy.-Gas Grill available for use-Kitchen utensils and linens provided-Keurig and coffee provided-Cable and WIFI provided-Washer and Dryer in cabin-Fire pit on lakeside patio-Dock space available for extra fee, please inquire in advance.

Fall Getaway
The cabin was just as described and the view of the lake with the fall color changes was incredible. We took a couple of day...cross village and mackinaw, and spent the rest of our time in Petoskey and enjoying the fire pit at the cabin. Dave was very responsive to the couple of needs/questions we had. We would love to come back and experience a different season at the cabin.

Annual up north get away
Small, but clean and quaint! Check in and check out were easy and the owners were friendly and responsive. We were even welcomed to the cabin with a fresh fruit basket and cookies. We really enjoyed this little cabin. Right on the water of beautiful Crooked Lake with easy access to the inland water way. Two marina’s close by with boat rentals, and the cabin has extra dock space to dock your boat. The cabin was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Location is great, close to everything! We had a grand visit, and will definitely be back!!

Anniversary Getaway
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was nostalgic in that this cabin was our honeymoon cabin 38 years ago. We have always loved the area (Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Cross Village, Inland Water Route, Rail Trail - just across the street, etc). We rented e-bikes in Petoskey and road 40 miles on the Rail Trail. Also, had a couple fires in the fire pit in the evening. Our host was extremely responsive and we enjoyed keeping our boat in the water at their dock. Overall a great location and a very enjoyable time in this cabin!

Owners thought of everything!
We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. For less than 400 sq ft, you would not believe the detail are care the owners put into this cabin. Beautiful view and convenientky located close to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We HIGHLY recommend.
