“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience. There are two restaurants here, the one on the second floor requires……

“I wait for 15 minutes for check in. Because there was no body there at front desk at 10:30 PM.”

“Breakfast was great for early morning, room was clean and really unique. Bed was very comfortable. Felt very safe with my family. Would definitely stay at Retro again!”

“Bed was ok. Pillows were grate. Pretty impressive breakfast. The Hot tub is more of a warm tub. New rooms very hot showers.”

“On our visit the Wifi wouldn’t connect, they had a vey limited breakfast, only one tv would connect to service, and the floors in our room were disgustingly dirty.”

“We had a restful night in our room. The bed was comfortable, the room was very quiet, the cool night was enjoyable. The hotel is aging, but it’s reasonably well maintained. As an added bonus, we walked to the Mexican restaurant next door, and had an excellent meal (fantastic green chile!).”

“I’ve now learned to call ahead to the hotel and see how massive the renovations are. This one was huge. No working elevator. Construction noise and Mexican music blaring from the radio all day. One stairway at the extreme end where you had to travel past carpet that must have been soaked in urine. I no longer hold holiday inn express as a hotel that will always meet certain standards. Generally old and run down. There are signs of old leaks around from the roof so that most likely means hidden……
