Great hotel in the thick of activity

Posted Feb 13, 2018
Pros: Location! within walking distance of all the attractions outlined in the Lonely Planet walking tour of Old Saigon.
Location: Great location! Within walking distance of all the attractions outlines in the Lonely Planet walking tour of Old Saigon
This is the spot to stay if you really want to experience down town life. Very busy, but no trouble sleeping at night. It is an oasis in the middle of chaos! The breakfast was nice, especially sitting outside on the rooftop patio, overlooking the bustle below. Only downside was the coffee. Not great, but we started bring our own coffee from Highlands on the corner! Staff were wonderful and everything was very clean. Think good quality Best Western for half the price. The street behind us held all the night life and little eateries. Very convenient. In front of us is the park. Very nice.

Great Stay

Posted Feb 3, 2018
Location was great! Walking distance to many sites. Restaurants, bars, shopping, laundry just steps away. Room was nice, and staff were very friendly, especially the guys at the door who were so helpful and friendly with opening doors, luggage, and finding taxis. Breakfasts were very good and we really enjoyed the roof-top patio with the beautiful view of the city.

Nice hotel

Posted Jan 30, 2018
Pros: Good location
Cons: The bath tube Jacuzzi don't seem working.
Nice hotel, convenience location. There is a food alley with many varieties of food to try just opposite the hotel. During the weekend there is a night market opposite next to the park.

Conveniently nearby many areas

Posted Jan 9, 2018
The hotel is conveniently located within 10-15 minutes by walking to most areas we visited (If you’re not into walking then taking Grab to travel around is cheap too!). The hotel was above my expectations in most areas. The breakfast buffet which I thought would’ve been negligible wasn’t as bad as I thought too; not a big spread but the rooftop view compensates for it

ELIOS: GOOD LOCATION AND VALUE FOR MONEY!!

Posted Jan 1, 2018
Pros: Breakfast, rooms and tv channels and facilities such as the Sky Bar and helpful staff.
Cons: The lightings outside the rooms a little dim especially at night.
Location: There are lots of tour agents, food is easily available and convenient stores too. There is a Church within walking distance and a park too.
My friends and I (4 in total) spent Christmas in Saigon and stayed from 21/12 till 26/12/17. Hotel location is nice opposite a park, very near to Taka Plaza and bus stop too. Location is near to everything you need, even a Church. The breakfast is good and staff are helpful and attentive. I requested for a change of room due to noise from the air conditioning compressors and request was granted. I will stay in this hotel on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City..such a vibrant city and an eye opener to me.

Good hotel. Mom,

No complaints. Helpful, ready staff. Handy, fairly central location but the pavement is blocked by parked cars, irresponsible blockage by various shops strung along while getting off the pavement exposes one to accidents. Hopefully, the current works across the road will overcome these problems.

Pleasant stay

Posted Nov 15, 2017
Hotel in great location, walking distance to almost everything: food, pubs, bars, ben thanh market, bui vien walking street. We booked the excutive room and was absolutely happy with the room facilities. Only thing is that the room had weird scent each time we enter until the air conditioning is fully running. Perhaps a ventillation issue?. Concierge staffs were awesome, helped us with our luggages and etc. Complimentary fruits was nice.

Elios Hotel

Posted Nov 11, 2017 on CheapTickets
Location: A small museum nearby of Ho Chi Minh memorabilia features his life as a teacher and the struggle for independence from the French and US intervention
We spent one night at the Elios Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, and found it to be comfortable lodging in a city we only briefly explored (on foot.) The buffet in the Sky Restaurant offered a very good selection of excellent food. Although our cruise in SE Asia originated in HCM city, we actually didn't do much sightseeing prior to boarding, other than wandering around the neighborhood We were astonished at how many people spoke English, old and young! The person who picked us up at the airport was fluent, and provided more information about the city than we could absorb.
