Amazing Resort - Amazing Staff - OKAY Management

We had the times of our life at this resort it was beautiful. It was a tropical oasis even inside the resort, a pond, fresh coconut, labels on all trees. The pool was an infinity pool going out to the beach and there was a great bar next to it as well. CONS: Management isn't the greatest, I ran into TWO problems on separate occasions and was given brushed off answers.
1. We booked the beach dinner and we got to only the second course when a bad storm rolled in and we were no longer allowed to dine on the beach. I asked for a discount or partial money back since we paid a total of $300 for something we only got to enjoy for a mere 15 minutes. They insisted they couldn't give us ANY discount and would only comp us 2 cocktails. Do the math, the numbers don't add up.
2. Upon check out our last day we had issues with our bills from the pool and there were specific drinks on there that we did not order and think it was a miscommunication due to couples next to us. Unfortunately, we signed the receipt late at night without knowledge we were being charged incorrectly which is bad on our end. We wanted to find a solution so we asked for the manager, we tried to explain the situation to him, instead he shrugged his shoulders and said I can't do anything. There was no effort to find a solution which is terrible management.
