        Great apt in Rittenhouse Sq

We have a college freshman in Philly and love to have some extra hang out space when we visit her. Center City has many great restaurants, so we stay there, rather than near campus. This time, we stayed one night in a one bedroom. There was a mixup and it was handled immmediately by Renee. Great customer service. Thanks.

Great location and some good aspects to the accommodations. Everything was clean, well-kept, and bathroom was roomy and sparkling, plus plenty of towels, shampoo, etc. Bed-stead has strange recessed lights that we could not turn off, so it was difficult to get the room completely dark to sleep (I recommend bringing sleep mask). Kitchen is set up well if you wish to cook while there--but oddly, there is no proper table to eat at. Only a tiny bistro table with two tall stools -- and most of the tiny table taken up with a basket of snacks and supplies, so you couldn't really eat at that table, nor do any work (we often work when in the city, and so like places where if there is no desk, there is at least a table and comfy chairs). We didn't cook but I appreciated the coffee machine, though even there, the coffee pods were for a 1 cup machine, though the coffee maker was larger and required larger pods. luckily I had brought my own coffee and a filter that I could adapt to the coffee maker. Door lock and unlock was through a punch-in code--directions said to punch code to re-lock the door, but that never worked, so I had to wait a minute or two at the door after leaving, until it automatically re-locked itself. Finally, the name of this accommodation is confusing since although it has "Rittenhouse" in it, the actual address is NOT on Rittenhouse; we wandered around a bit before rechecking our text to see that the address is actually on a different street. So--if you bring your own coffee and filter, plus eye mask, and don't expect to eat or do any work at a table, it's great!
