I had a wonderful experience at the Doubletree Hotel in Philly! The inital check in process was very smooth, the staff was extremely friendly, and they moved the line along nicely. When we got to our room, we noticed that it was extremely hot and tried to turn on the air, which would not turn on. It was completely dead. We had called downstairs and they sent somoene up within 5-7 minutes of our call. The gentleman was very nice, but after going to the unit on the wall and then the radiator, we realized this was not going to be a quick fix and had reservations within the the next 10 minutes. We grabbed our items and went down to the hotel desk to see if there was another room available that we could stay in. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and tried to help find us another alternative and had ended up giving us an upgrade in the process. The rooms were wonderful, clean, comfortable and the hotel itself is in a GREAT location in Philly. I would defintely come back!
