The front desk lady that helped me (Ms.T) was amazing and wonderful. My flight was delayed and a big bus had come in filled with students. The hotel was almost sold out and she made sure to make this one of the best stays I have ever had. She was able to get me into a room at last minute, and it was amazing! The service she provided me made a horrible night of delays so worth it! I appreciate her and the wonderful Embassy suites staff so much! Thank you!

Starting with the positive- The breakfast was good. Most staff was friendly, and it was an easy 15 minute walk to the train station to get into the city ($6 and a 25 min ride). Room was spacious for two adults and a toddler. However, a number of negatives dampened our stay- the pool was down for almost half of our stay (and it was one of the reasons we booked for our toddler). In our room, the sink stopper was broken, so were some of the hooks on our window shade (letting in parking lot light at night), and the toilet let out a very loud high-pitched screech each time it was flushed. While an iron was provided, the room didn't have an ironing board (leaving me unable to iron my business clothes), and on our next to the last day there, after doing some yoga on the hotel room carpet, I had a severe allergic reaction (my eyes swelled up and I started wheezing) necessitating a visit to the urgent care (this was after 30 minutes of stretching directly on the carpet, and I believe it came from allergens on floor I had touched and breathed in). I'd recommend looking at one of the other airport hotels if you plan to stay in the area.

My family has been staying here on and off since 2014. It hasn’t been updated physically but it’s still friendly and comfortable and convenient to the airport. It’s just not walkable or otherwise convenient to other parts of Philly.

The only thing we enjoyed was John’s hospitality from the bar. He was very attentive and polite. The front desk on the other hand was not welcoming or friendly. Our room was not clean and we had arts all over the sink. We called the front desk and whoever picked up the phone just hung up. When I try to call back, nobody ever answered. I spoke with someone at front desk to let them know about room cleanliness and the representative said they were going to get someone to look into it. This never happened.The garbage cans in the lobby were full and floor spills not cleaned up for a whole day. I’ve picked Embassy Suites because I’ve stayed at other Embassy in Orlando, Miami, Washington DC and others and this is the first time I’ve had a non satisfactory experience at an Embassy Suites.

We stayed here for one night before an early flight at PHL. Although it says on small print that parking is $25 a night, we didn’t realize that until checking in. All of the parking gates were out of operation and it took 10-15 minutes to drive into the parking lot. Our bed sheets had old blood stains on them. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and when we woke up in the morning to get on the elevator, there was a homeless man literally sleeping on the floor in the hallway. If we didn’t have an early flight the next day…or if we had to stay any additional nights, we definitely would’ve checked out and gotten a refund.

The staff at front desk were polite. The room where I was checked in was disgusting. There was dark water in the clogged sink. The front desk person moved me to a new room and this time I found dirty towels hanging from the bathroom curtain rope and hair on the sink. 😞

Property was nice. Looks great. I was disappointed that the staff person decided to talk to other staff and answer phones instead of help get me checked in. It was late I was tired and the only person in line. Did not even acknowledge me. I felt a sense of I will make you wait cause I can attitude. I remained polite and positive but why treat people like that. In addition, the room was actually in the process of being renovated - guess. Broken fixtures, damaged and worn furniture. I did not mind it really but if that’s not your style, you may want to look elsewhere.

This is one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We had to request changing rooms twice during our 30 hour stay. The first room we walked in smelled so much like smoke I began coughing. The one we moved to seemed better, initially, until we walked in the bathroom. It smelled like cigar smoke so bad no one could shower in it. Since it was after 2AM at that point (late flight) we decided we would just deal with it that night and go to sleep. We found what appeared to be blood stains on the bed. We took the comforter off and got to sleep. The next morning we tried to get breakfast. It was 9:15 and most things had already been put up. The omelette bar was still open, but the man working was not happy I asked to get one for myself and one for my husband. While at breakfast, my son had to go to the bathroom. I took him to the family bathroom which was unlocked. I opened the door and saw a man smoking weed who said my son and I could come into the bathroom. We obviously didn’t, but it is super scary to think what could’ve happened if my son had gone by himself. At that point, my husband tried to contact Hilton to get a refund and have us move to a new hotel. He was getting the run around for about an hour and a half, so we left to explore the city. When we came back to the hotel that evening, we moved to another room. That room was better, but it still had mold.

First let me say the clerk at the front desk named Fatima was amazing, she was helpful, intelligent, friendly, patient, and professional. The facility was clean and comfortable, but a bit outdated and that could be cause of the historical nature of Philadelphia. However, i would recommend this hotel for anyone who is needing to be shuttled to and from the airport and train station.

Nice place for an airport stay. Good size room and front desk was awesome. 5am airport shuttle driver never showed and had to get an Uber which was unexpected and disappointing. Pool was also closed.

Hotel isnt what it used to be at all!! My family and i used to come here just a few years back and there used to be a full 2 hour happy hour of complimentary drinks and plenty of snacks, full breakfast with chef and pool. Now theh only allow 2 drinks for happy hour, hardly any snacks and the pool was closed. Not sure if there has been new managemnet but its such a shame. Will not be returning
