reservation mixed up.

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: convenience. Breakfast and managers special reception.
Cons: see above
First my reservation was mixed up. Then they did not have a room ready so offered me a non-suite. I said I'd wait for what I paid for. When I finally got into the room it was the original one that I could have gotten into earlier and not a suite. I went to next room, a suite, that smelled terribly of smoke. I then asked to move. I did move and the third room was finally more appropriate but the place is a bit run down all in all. Very nice and helpful staff but any of the furnishings and doors and elevators were all dirty and/or damaged. They could also have offered me something for the inconvenience.

Avoid - especially on weekends

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Nothing to like or dislike about the facility itself.
Cons: Management. Obviously the money made from catering to traveling teams overwhelms their obligation to other guests.
Location: Valley Forge National Park. T
We like Embassy Suites, but would never stay at this one again. This hotel was mediocre to begin with and not well supervised. The weekend we were there the hotel was filled with children's travel baseball and soccer teams. The place was overrun by undisciplined gangs of children of all ages running the halls at all hours yelling and making noise til after 11 at night, constantly pushing all the buttons in the elevators and overwhelming all the facilities - including the managers reception. The parents, chaperones, or whatever they were gathered in the halls around coolers drinking and shouting up and down the atrium to each other and their offspring. Children knocking on wrong doors seeking friends or calling the wrong room numbers. The only way to avoid the chaos was to sit in your room with the TV turned up to drown out the noise. A very unpleasant stay. The "management" did nothing - turning a blind eye to the behavior. Apparently this was a common weekend at this place.

Short stay

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Cannot be objective, was not there long enough
Cons: More control by the staff as young children about 25 of them between the ages of 8-11 were running all over the place and playing with the elevators
Location: wasn't there long enough
I am unhappy about the stay. I had reserved a suite, (king bed/pullout sofa) as I was staying with my daughter who needed to be up very early to be in a lacrosse tournament. What I got was a regular room, only one bed, which was not king sized, no suite..and charged the same price. We got in very late, so I was too tired to complain.

Nice suite but noisey A/C unit

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: I like the location and the very good breakfast but would like the cook that made omelet or a least a way to make the omelets myself.
Cons: Quieter A/C unit
Location: Good location. 15 - 20 minute drive to the King of Prussia mall( should complete renovations in 2016).
I like the two room suite and the size of the room. This was my 4th visit to the hotel and I don't recall the A/C unit being so loud. Then again, I booked and received a room with a king size bed but this time they were somehow over booked so I received a twin queen bed. The cook that made omelet was not present this time around so I hope he returns.

Weekend trip to Philly with kids.

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Free breakfast...the Create your own omelet station was amazing; Indoor pool; free parking, beautiful lobby
Cons: The hotel shoud have change machines and dispensers with laundry supplies in the areas where there are self serve w/d.
Location: Hotel located in office park. Not much to do there but the mall is only about 15 mins away.
My kids loved the room, especially because it was two separate rooms and they could each have their own space. The suites also had 2 tv's which limited the amount of fighting over what we were watching. They also enjoyed the pool and whirpool. It was raining the day we were there so it was nice to have the pool indoors. The first time we went to the complimentary breakfast, it was later in the morning and it was very busy, the food wasn't very fresh or warm and we had problems finding a place to sit. The second morning we went down earlier and didn't have any of these problems. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Home for a week

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Typical Embassey suites except it only has king beds and it is a bit outdated. I liked that the breakfast room was not in the center but in a side room. This was offset by the bar that could get a little loud at night and was in the center. My room was clean but the carpet felt dingy. Easy to get to. Served its purpose.

very comfortable and quiet room

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Overall we liked it. There were two weddings going on and we still had a very quiet stay. The price was good and it was worth the price. I like the Embassey's free manager's reception and the area was very comfortable.
