Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to post a review. While it appears that you certainly liked the location (can't be beat!), I do apologize about the difficulty you had accessing the restaurant. We definitely appreciate your feedback and will continue to look into solutions to ensure all our guests can enjoy our facilities. We hope to welcome you back the next time you visit Philly! Central location near Philly landmarks

Posted Apr 27, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Carpet odor
Location: Near Liberty Bell, Old town, all thing touristy.
Can't beat the location, walking distance to everything, usual Kimpton style. Our room however had a decidedly wet doggy odor, the down side of being pet friendly? Great shower!

Aceydenver, Thanks for staying and for taking the time to write a review. You are definitely right in that our location is tough to beat and thanks for acknowledging our funky Kimpton style. I appreciate the feedback regarding your carpet as well. We are absolutely doggy friendly, but cleanliness is still cleanliness. We will pass along your comments to our housekeeping team to ensure that we are hitting on all cylinders. Hope to welcome you back again soon! In service, James

Unexpectedly fab!

Posted Apr 21, 2016
Pros: see above
Cons: the view from the rooftop bar - the view was totally blocked!
Location: Everything was nearby! Philly is a great walking city, so we were across the street from Independence Hall! Great restaurants, sites, etc. nearby.
Great location, restaurant, room, staff! The décor is like nothing we've experienced - we loved it - very uplifting to wake up & spend time in these rooms! Free wine in the afternoon, & chilled fruited water. Yoga mat & umbrella in the closet. Best plumbing we have ever experienced, & that includes the Kohler resort! Clean! Smells good. My husband has horrible asthma & allergies, but the rooms were so clean, he was fine. Great comfy bedding!

Joan, All I can say is wow! Thank you so much for staying with us and I am excited to see you had such a great stay. You even listed almost all of my favorite amenities! As for the rooftop, because of our building's designation as a historic building, there were some things that we were out of our control. They still make some great drinks up there though! We hope you get back to Philly soon so we can spoil you some more! In Service, James

Great location in historic Philadelphia

Posted Apr 19, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Try to remind partying guests to be quieter when returning late at night.
Location: Liberty Bell, Constitution Center ...... All the best that Phila has to offer is at your doorstep!
Staff is very helpful and hotel rooms funky. Be aware that many bridal parties book this hotel for either receptions or just for guests. Hence, noisy Fri and Sat nights in halways.

Great location

This hotel is in a great location within the Old City area of Phildelphia. It's right next to Independence Hall and the liberty bell. Great room, nice & clean. We stayed in a 2 queen room with 2 kids for 1 night. I could have stayed longer.

Can't beat the location

Posted Mar 30, 2016
The hotel is located within walking distance of the visitor center, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, Betsy Ross' House, Ben Franklin's grave, Bureau of the Mint and Reading Terminal Market. It is also a short walk to the waterfront and local pubs. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. The only complaint is that our room (#415) was very small where the bed was located right near the door. It was fine for the one night we stayed at the hotel. We will definitely be staying here during our next visit to Philadelphia!
