Excellent location and a first rate staff

Staff goes out of their way to help you with smallest things. Location can't be beat -- close to Philly's best restaurants and shopping.

Weekend Getaway

Staying at Hotel Palomar was a great experience. The room was clean, warm and cozy. The fixtures and fittings were very tasteful and the artwork a pleasure to look at. The location is excellent and within walking distance of many places of interest. This will be our go-to hotel when we visit Philly in future.

Thanks for choosing the Palomar. The artwork scattered throughout the building is probably one of our most underappreciated design features. I find myself discovering a new piece every so often. A number of pieces are from local artists and they all are unique to us.

Good location, pet friendly, free happy hour

I enjoyed the stay and being able to bring my dog along was very convenient. They even have dog walking services! The room was a little small, but if you are going to be out and about, then it doesn't matter much. The décor was very nice. Rooms were clean. The bath products were nice as well. The staff was very friendly. The happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch bc we could bring the dog.

Pros: Very quiet rooms and nice wine reception in the evening.
We could not have been happier! Location is easy walking distance to many great restaurants,museums, shopping and the park in Rittenhous Square!

Pros: Unique shaped room, clean, nice views.
Cons: The valet parking situation
Great Hotel, liked it better than the Monaco, another Kimpton Hotel in Philadelphia.

Class and comfort

Pros: Everything
Cons: I just wish the wine hour was a wine 2 hours.
I loved this hotel! Clean, classy, in an excellent location with an amazing restaurant attached. Even the lobby and elevators smelled like cinnamon and cloves. The staff was 5 star.

Something skeevy on the beds coverlet but no big deal. Very happy w/a nice quiet room on the 5th floor.

Something skeevy's no good! That should have been caught by our housekeeping team. They are typically very meticulous. Sorry they weren't in this case. Glad the rest of the stay worked out well for you.

Cons: Bit more attention to detail on cleanliness of room - overall very clean but could have used a bit of dusting
Great location and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms and allows dogs.

air system too loud, but other than that, very nice hotel. just not worth the price though.

great downtown hotel

Pros: Pet friendly; convenient location
Staff was very helpful in letting us check in early so the baby could nap. And, of course, very welcoming to our dog
