Stinks weed throughout... and nasty hair and human stuff remained in bathroom, disgusting! The weed stench was permeating throughout the entire property, it was incredible!

I stayed at the Residence Inn for 3 nights while attending a conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center. The hotel's location is a very easy 3-5 minute walk away from the convention center, as well as transit stops and the Reading Terminal Market. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast buffet were always helpful and kind. The room itself was comfortable, but is showing some age.

Staff was accommodating and kind. The closest train station was a few minutes away, which was very helpful as we spent a lot of time at the WWE events for WrestleMania week as well as at Wells Fargo for a Sixers game. Highly recommended.

The location was great, and it was easily within walking distance of all of the most popular sites. The view was pretty good. We had a view of City Hall from our room. The negatives: The room was small, but also expected in older buildings. The shower was terrible; it looked as if someone had taken a normal shower and cut it in half-long ways. The floor had a dip, and the water would not completely drain from the shower. The "showerhead" was just a detachable mess, and its holder was on a pole where it could be adjusted but only just fell to the bottom. My wife found hairs in the shower wrapped around the cord of the detached "shower head" and embedded in the towels. The lobby was super basic and plain and seemed like the entrance to the local jail. The valet area was actually pretty large for the location, and it made it easy to load and unload our things; I had to get parking at a local garage because the hotel was charging one arm and maybe two legs per night for valet. (to be fair, they are all now for some weird reason). Regarding the price, I think this hotel is an okay deal and has a great location. This is not a high-end hotel, but that should be expected when comparing prices to others.

Overall it was a good experience but one main draw back is the shower design. There is a one panel glass door that swivels and is so inconvenient that water seeps through and your floor after a shower is always wet.

The property is well located, but the rooms are very small. Also I had an issue that the hotel charge additional fees for no reason, I'm now fighting with them to reinburse.

Lovely spot for a stay, and good location and in proximity of many food spots. Staff were great, and were so kind to upgrade my room as I was staying multiple nights, and the suite was clean and with a nice view. Appreciated the breakfast service as well.

Its in a great location for the Christmas villages, City Hall, Reading Terminal, Chinatown, etc. The hotel overall in nice and the breakfast is great! It was clean but condition wise things coule improve.

The staff was friendly, and the location was good. However, we needed to run the shower for 15 minutes before it was warm. Someone came to check it out and said it was hot. It was only warm.

A nice stay
When I first arrived, I was told that I had to wait about a half hour (total) for my room to be ready because the previous guest signed out late. But the front desk was very nice and let my family each have a complimentary snack and let us wait in a lobby on another floor in the meantime. When we were alerted the room was ready, we went in and found the room nice and clean and very spacious! Our only gripe was that the bathroom was quite disproportionate compared to the rest of the room. The door almost buts the toilet when you open it, making it awkward to get in. Other than that, we loved the room! It had a great view, which we loved.

I was very disappointed as I requested a suite with kitchen and separate room from the sitting area and they gave us a handicapped/accessible room very different from what I paid for. I almost felt like my room was given to someone else and we got whatever what was left. There was no curtain or bathtub at all. As a mom with a teenage son and boyfriend, the privacy of a curtain would have been very helpful. The room was in the bedroom so just was awkward if someone needed to use the bathroom while I was in the shower. I was extremely unhappy and feelings not acknowledged when I said something to the front desk. Additionally paid for valet parking but had to walk down the block and had to wait a half hour for my car. I did not have a good stay at all for the money. Very disappointed.

Loved our stay here! The staff was super friendly and helpful, we were about a 2 minute walk from the convention center. The area around the hotel was much nicer than other hotels we’ve stayed at in Philly. Valet parking was super quick and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Overall had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
