Room was large and comfortable. The location is fantastic for seeing the historical sites of Philadelphia. Rooms are priced on the higher end and valet can be used for about $50 per day including tax. Tip is extra but they are friendly and will load/unload your bags. I would stay here again.

I’m sure everything was state of the art when it was made but it looks like nothing has been updated since then. Don’t get me wrong. The place is nice but the pool definitely needs updated parts of the bottom were cracking enough where you could possibly cut your feet they got rid of the hot tub that it shows online. I can’t speak for in between guests, but when we put the cleaning request placard on the door, none of the bedding was changed.

The location is exceptional. A few blocks from all the major historical sites. Plenty of restaurants from fine dining to hole in the wall gems within a few blocks. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, but seems they need better overall training and supervision.

It was a beautiful room with a great shower and terrific view. Super dog friendly. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Cafe and restaurant very convenient in the morning in the hotel with a lot of great restaurants and sight seeing in the area while being walkable. Only drawback is the level of noise at night - the street noise was loud and every time someone on the floor slammed their door at night it was jarring and loud; for a light sleeper this was worth taking a star off and if I was a deep sleeper it would be 5 stars.

I was disappointed with the guest service during check-in. Additionally, I was displeased to be informed that my car was parked in front and had to come down to it, even though I did not request valet parking to do so at that time.

Our stay at the Renaissance was average. The people were the best and the most helpful. Our room was average, it felt dark and unclean. The bathroom socket was not safely secured into the wall. There was mold in the shower. The beds were uncomfortable, we woke up both days with back pain due to how hard the beds were. We enjoyed being able to walk around the downtown and to be close to the Old City.

Just returned from an overnight stay at the Renaissance downtown hotel and it was great! The front desk was so helpful and even let us check in early. The pool which was heated to 90 degrees was a hit with my two kids. There were plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. We were even treated to breakfast which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is amazing! It was a great little getaway with the family. My Husband had to stay here for jury duty a month ago for five weeks and we came back with the family, just for a little getaway and it did not disappoint. We had the best time. We spent time at the pool and walked around the city. We had a wonderful time.

Let me start by saying that we chose this hotel for my fiancé and I anniversary. For some reason our days were confused. We were supposed to stay Friday and Saturday the 10&11, when I called they said we were supposed to stay the Thursday to Friday 9 &10. I was extremely upset that the customer service rep couldn’t help us out in any way. She told me I would have to do a new reservation and that I would have to pay the previous stay also. She didn’t try to help us out at all. I asked to speak to a manager she told there none available. I’m very upset that no one could help us out. Then I get home and I get bill for more then I would have to stay for. I would really appreciated if a manager from the hotel would give me a called to resolve this situation cause I think it was poor customer service. It ruin my anniversary weekend with my fiancé. I enjoyed the moody look and vibe of this hotel. Our room was great, we actually had a water view and lots of windows. Very clean. The staff was really friendly and attentive. Our 2 negatives were the super loud room hvac and the mattress was kind of hard so we didn’t sleep well.

Staff not very responsive to requests or accommodating. Very little friendliness or greeting by staff. Services such as pre- ordering breakfast is not even an option. Dining options/menu need major upgrade for the property.
