Room was a sauna, AC didn’t work. Tried to call main desk and phone didn’t work. Finally had an engineer come up and couldn’t be fixed so I moved rooms. Great staff. Breakfast buffet was $20 and just 5 items.

The only thing to improve maybe is to have more variety in the hotel convenience store and maybe to include a free breakfast with the service.

Room was clean with good shower/bathroom facilities, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, big tv that allowed me to play movies from my memory stick, fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker. Bed was comfy too. Only issue was the windows were quite thin so I could hear everything outside, including the next door fire station and guy on a cherry picker at 6am. Staff were nice too. All in all a good stay.

Nicely located within many tourist attractions. The room was comfortable but a little run down. Especially around the window. Showed signs of water damage when the curtain is open. Will definitely stay again next time I am in Philadelphia.

The thing that we enjoyed most was the location of the hotel. Area felt safe and there was plenty things to do within walking distance. The cons of the hotel were, restaurant/ bar service and the very thin walls of the room. The bartender was very unwelcoming and rude. She seemed very bothered by our presence and acted differently towards other guests. We interacted with her twice and both times was the same cold shoulder response. As far as the room, we had trouble sleeping due to clearly hearing the loud tv of the room next to us. The tv was on all night and either turned up all the way or the walls are very thin.

Like all hotels, housekeeping needs to work on cleaning in corners, but all in all this was a good place to stay. Surprisingly quiet, especially considering it's in the middle of everything and across the street from a busy firestation. Excellent staff. The bar is stocked quite poorly, but that's the only complaint.

This property looks nothing like the picture. The hotel is dirty. The rooms need upgrades and deep cleaning. I was booked for four days I checked out after day one. I had to be moved from the first room because it had water damage and smelled like humidity. The second room rug was filthy and the bathroom had soap scum all over it.

I really like how the hotel had majority all black staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We got a choice to choose what floor we wanted to stay and we choose to do the top floor with a view. The food was delicious and also. We had a minor/small maintenance issue and maintenance team came right away. The hotel is very convenient to downtown and there are many store to shop at within walking.

We had a pleasant stay and will return. The staff, particularly the concierge desk, were highly attentive, and our family felt well-treated. The hotel's location is conveniently close to historic sites. However, we were disappointed by a email stating we could order a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday, especially after inviting guests who paid for parking.

The rooms were fine, but the property is a bit outdated, and same for the restaurant, nothing great. Now, the hotel is in a good area easy walking to restaurants and museums, and the rest you can uber quickly. Parking is expensive, but expected on that area. Overall good specially for the location

Loved the location of the property overall; it was conveniently located to all of the historic sites and the visitors center. The room over all was fine; however we encountered several issues with our room such as; non-working outlets; a leaking refrigerator, peeling wallpaper and some minor wear and tear to furniture. Additionally there was significant construction going on across from our room which was only ongoing over night and made it very difficult to sleep.

The hotel was good. However, it is sad that the personal in the restaurant did not provide good information to the guests. They should let the guests know the schedules of the kitchen. Because the first night, I went to the restaurant 8:40pm, and I had to wait 15 min until the the waitress came to us. We order 2 drinks after that we decide to order chicken wings, but our surprise was that the kitchen closed at 9:00pm. We order the wings at 9:05pm, and this lady told us that the kitchen was closed already. She could let us know as soon as she took the order of the drinks that the kitchen was almost closed but she didn’t.

I was a little surprised to find a service fee attached to my bill for breakfast. it appears to be bit of "double dipping " and almost cost our server her tip. In addition when I requested to speak to the manager, he mysteriously could not be found! The front desk mgr, although very helpful otherwise had no knowledge of this so called service fee. This incident marred our stay and will discourage me from recommending this property to friends.

I had a great stay, property was quiet and comfortable. The parking garage is great and convenient. The halls look a bit outdated but my room was clean it just smelled a little weird.

Nice customer service. The only complaint is that the breakfast/brunch is overpriced and don’t provide enough food, based on what they charge. $5.00 for literally 2 slices of ham. Can’t be! I was expecting a similar portion of ham as in IHOP maybe, but never 2 slices. Service was great

The staff was great, but the age of the property is beginning to show. We were in Rm 231, and the area around the tub needs attention. I don't know if it's cauking or grout, but it is just smeared around the tub where it meets the tile. The dust ruffle on the bed was very wrinkled and just made for an unkempt look. It way be not be major, but it's the little details that keep customers coming back...or not.
