Charming and centrally located

Posted Jan 9, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The staff is very friendly and sincere and was always looking out for our needs. Due to our extended stay, we were offered free laundry service.
Cons: We perceived nothing to improve.
Location: The hotel is centrally located and for $3 a tuk-tuk can take you to AEON Mall, the Royal Palace, River Walk, and other tourist attractions.
We stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing time. The restaurant offers excellent Asian or Western cuisine.

Phnom Pehn

Posted Feb 25, 2016
Pros: Clean room loved the huge shower and welcome fruit basket, but the best thing was the staff! Went above and beyond to be helpful. Enjoyed onsite spa.
Location: Short tuk-tuk ride to the river front area, Russian Market and Grand Palace. Also close by are the S-21 Museum and the Killing Fields.
Great hotel in a convenient location. The staff was amazing! Extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel food was excellent.

Little Gem in a bustling city

Posted Dec 22, 2015
Pros: Spa and massage were excellent, rooms amazing, boutique style with wet rooms.
Cons: The restaurant. A 5 star restaurant does not fill out paper menus with tick boxes. Told to keep cutlery from starter for next course!
Location: Centre of town close to all things and tuk tuk from everything. Waterfront restaurants, or training restaurants are good.
La Rose Boutique Hotel and Spa is trying very hard to lift itself up to compete with 5 star standards. The rooms are lovely, the spa/massage excellent and the staff are so helpful. The only thing letting it down is the restaurant. Food was lovely but you are either western or Asian, excel in one don't be mediocre in both.
