I really enjoyed this WanderJaunt unit. It was spacious and very clean. Nice surprises included YouTubeTV, a coffee maker with coffee for the morning and a Britta in the fridge for filtered water. The container shipping yard was an interesting setting and there are some cool looking restaurants nearby, though many were closed Monday, the night I stayed.
I did have some trouble with the WanderJaunt system itself, my credit card charge via Hotels.com got declined and my reservation was cancelled three times because the zip code information wasn't passing from system to system. Booking via Hotels.com to WanderJaunt should be as seamless as any other hotel, never had this zip code issue before. Further, WJ requires you go though a background check to stay in the unit. They ask for facial imagery and copies of your ID to be sent across to them via a verification company, which felt really intrusive. I emailed them to ask the rationale and they explained it's because they're a property manager vs a booking company. In the end I did it because I wanted to try our this service (I travel to PHX weekly) but that type of sharing of personal info may not be for everyone.
