Close to airport and affordable

Posted Sep 28, 2016
The hot water was not working so we made do with a lukewarm/cold shower. They would have sent someone to fix it but we were only there for one night and it was late by the time we found out the water was cold. Overall, beds were good, room was big, fridge, microwave and a quiet facility.

This was my second staying at this hotel beds and living room were okay but once I opened the cabinets we found a needle containing who knows what. We called the front desk and the totally dissmissed the reasons I was calling like it was something they always found. Maintenance came and removed the needle and told us the manager would call me but never did.

Beautiful remodeled pool

Posted Sep 12, 2016
The hotel staff at check in was excellent. The hotel grounds were clean, quiet and very easy to find my room. The swimming pool was amazing! I loved the amenities and a big bonus was the bbq grills and all the spas they had on site. The room I had was a casita/suite. It had a great living room, equipt kitchen with a fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed. I loved this resort and will definitely stay again!

Golf Resort

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Closeness to where I needed to be. Feeling of seclusion.
Cons: Need to update mattresses, fix leaks in ceiling and faucet in tub.
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby. I was visiting family so didn't do much outside.
Pretty secluded which was nice. Ordering breakfast took forever. Room I had was very dated. Bad leak in ceiling and bathtub spigot very loose. Beds were worn down on the sides.

Affordable

Posted Sep 5, 2016
Pros: We like the location and the quiet atmosphere (remember, though, this is Mesa in the summer).
Cons: There are lots of little things that need to be repaired - peeling wallpaper, marks on the walls, stains on bedspread thing. Should be dish soap, etc.
Location: The location is close to shopping, hospitals and restaurants.
This is a nice affordable hotel/resort. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Biggest problem seems to be that it's stuck in the past - there are a LOT of things that should be upgraded or repaired (peeling wallpaper, for example).

Very Nice

Posted Jul 27, 2016
Cons: Water pressure....
Location: Helicopter ride, Rainforrest cafe...
We thought our stay was very nice. We fell in love with our bed very firm and comfortable. The amenities in the room and available outdoor activities were a great welcome. However I think something needs to be done about the water pressure just too too low....hard to shower properly with but overall it was a nice stay. If the water pressure is corrected for out next visit we will certainly stay again...if not we will have to consider it.....david

Location: Very polite staff. More of a beginner golf course, but very clean and enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.
I enjoyed my stay there. Good golf course for beginners, but a nice way to spend the afternoon. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room had a mini kitchen which was nice, and very clean.

One night turned into one week

Posted Jun 29, 2016 on Orbitz
It is truly amazing that you could rent a hotel room for $50 and night and to be totally satisfied with the amenities Hotel staff and your room. Truthfully I'm surprised this room is not hundreds of dollars a night. While I understand it is the summertime and room rates are lower when you look at what you get for $50 at any of the competitive locations it is really pathetic. This place is just a really amazing place to stay when anything else at this price is filled with drug addicts this place offers a real private getaway. It will be my go-to spot from now on. My one-night stay ended up getting extended multiple nights

Blast from the past resort was outstanding

Posted Jun 28, 2016 on Hotels
We arrived to record heat and almost didn't stay. The room was great with two very comfortable chairs and great A/C. I played golf with a 6AM tee time and finished 18 holes in less than three hours. The pool was well maintained and actually had a 10 foot max. depth. The resort was built by Lorne Green from "Bonanza", and actually has a home he built called "Ponderosa 2" with a historical marker. We are so glad we stayed for the whole week and had a great time in spite of the heat.
