Ugh. Have stayed at before. It was great. 10 years later not so great. My toilet never flushed. Thankfully only a night there and by myself. The shower drained soooo slow. Water overflowed onto bathroom floor. The drains smelled terrible of sewer. Yuck. Told staff. Front desk staff very unfriendly. No greeting or welcome smile. Borderline ride. No eye contact. Cart drivers were also not friendly. Felt like I was inconveniencing them. Even my friend who dropped me off mentioned how crabby staff was. Even the waitresses were just not welcoming. Wondering what has happened to this hotel. Sad.

This resort was wonderful. All of the staff were truly there to serve us. We were there for our Spring Break and needed a true get away. We also played golf at the resort and it was also fantastic. We will be back!!

A really nice resort but lacking a few amenities. Obviously it has the benefit of great golf & the area is peaceful. We stayed in a casita & it was charming with stone & wood work throughout, a tv you can adjust direction, fireplace with logs provided, tub, shower, a mini fridge (which was dirty) & dimmable lights. You have to get a ride from their transportation services (golf cart) or walk to the casitas from your car as parking isn’t close, Don’t be afraid to use the ride service to go anywhere on premise because you pay a non optional $35 charge to cover any transport. The wifi didn’t work in room, I had to go to the main lodge to get it to work & normal cell signal was really spotty. Used 2 different pools, the lodge pool is the largest & they serve drinks & snacks, the spa pool is the 2nd largest & adult only but no drink service. There are 2 other pools, by the tennis courts & in the villas, both less busy. The spa is pretty & I went to one of the free exercise classes at the spa. the fitness/ weight room is fairly large too. The bar at the lodge is nice & modern but their restaurants are lacking. They are both southwest themed food which is fine but you can tire of it. We tried the fancier restaurant which had good mixed drinks but the one thing my wife wanted on the menu they were out of. Additionally, as fine dining goes the ambiance was really lacking, there are nicer places for cheaper (ex: confluence). Overall a lovely spot but not quite up to par for the price.

Overall pretty nice, personally thought the staff were a bit prickly as far as being able to ask them questions. It's a little confusing trying to get into the resort. And our casita had some minor maintenance defects such as loose stones on the floor and our bathroom sink handles were real loose.

Our Casita was very quiet, roomy, clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful, pool was clean and warm too. The pool waitress was so nice and attentive. Made our last day at Boulders fantastic!

The property itself was beautiful. The condos need a little TLC. Rotted wood, patio sliding doors in bad shape, our bathroom glass shower door didn’t close all the way therefore water escaped to the bathroom floor, hot water in the shower took long to heat up then became scalding hot and not able to adjust to cooler temp. In a timely manner. Our stay was very nice and relaxing but the actual units need some work / upkeep.

Unfortunately we have been coming here for 15 years but its just become very very run down and the staff is very very unprofessional. Very bad service. Not very clean and generally had a bad experience. Room never got clean, front desk was incredibly rude and no one picked up the phone at any extension for 1 hour.. this with are two little kids in the room (we needed water). Its too bad because its in a beautiful location and we used to love coming here a few times a year but we will no longer be going to this place with all the other better options in the area. We are all very disappointed.

Great resort within a beautiful natural setting. The rooms are superbly designed and ridiculously spacious. Great location too. Eveyone makes you feel so welcome with Tyrell on reception particularly fantastic at his job.

Secluded and quiet. Property kept clean and up-to-date. Resort fees are high and fine dining restaurant offers average expensive food. It was nice to experience the stay but I'm not sure if we will be back any time soon.

Upon arrival, the minibar/minifridge was not cleaned and was rather disgusting. The bathtub drain was also displaced. We informed the hotel management, but they did not rectify the minifridge during the entire trip. On the second day they did not turn down the room. They told us this was due to half the housekeeping staff walking off on New Years. They provided a small credit for this. The staff on the carts were fantastic, and the location is beautiful. However, for the price, they need to make sure the housekeeping is up to speed.

All of the staff were great! There is a lot of much needed repair both in the room and out. I think the property needs to be updated completely. Don’t know how it gets a five star resort rating. Way further from Stottsdale than expected. Quite a commute from the resort into town.

The property is nice and clean but way over priced. The restaurants aren't great and def over charge. It was freezing at night and the heatc wouldn't work i called the front desk and all they did was sent firewood for the fireplace which was fine but it didn't heat the whole room up. I had added a breakfast credit when i booked but they still charged me for breakfast tht next morning. Save your money here and go to Scottsdale Plaza resort. Half the price and the casitas are like 1 bedroom apartments and its ventral to do much more.
