I had just came from Grand Canyon and needed to book a hotel room, was looking for some comfortable even if i had to pay a little more, this boutique style hotel was perfect! The staff was super friendly and the restaraunt inside was even pretty good :) didnt wanna leave my hotel room for dinner
My daughter and I went to Scottsdale for a mother/daughter weekend and we had a great stay. The staff was excellent . ThecZuZu hotel restaurant was exceptional. Food staff and drinks were fantsstic! You must exoerience the build your own bloody mary bar in the late morning!! Great pool parties!! ...
Overall excellent Some minor misses- no breakfast menus left behind Late room cleaning on busy transition days But overall didn't affect our stay Don't get the foot and leg treatment- glorified explanation in the brochure. But all other spa treatments are excellent
Old historic hotel but very well kept and clean. Friendly staff and helpful. We had a lot of fun going floor to floor to see the old time movie star suites. Also, the interesting stories of the guest who now haunts the hotel. I would recommend a stay at the San Carlos Hotel.
Check in made us wait for the room but grounds were beautiful and waiting by the fountain with their newspaper was nice. Room great, big tub and shower, comfy beds.
Me and my wife loved the clean room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Our room was on the outside facing a beautiful park where you could take a nice stroll around the pond with pups or play disc golf. I would stay again.
Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired (dusty, poor wipe-downs), several electrical outlets not working, attached diner overpriced with small portions & poor food prep, attached bar was nice but drinks were overpriced...

For starters, go on a hunt for the Mystery Castle in South Mountain Park. An architect built this enchanting, 18-room home for his daughter in the 1930s. Today, visitors can tour the wine cellar, wedding chapel, 13 fireplaces, and more. The Hall of Flame Fire Museum is another extraordinary attraction, which features a collection of historical firefighting artifacts that range from the year 1725 to 1969. During your visit, marvel at how the trucks and firefighting gear have changed over time.
