Great hotel, poor service

Posted Nov 6, 2016
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds.
Cons: Staff service and availability
Location: Located right off of route 17.
As a hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were large and very clean. However, the front desk was very unresponsive. The doors lock at 9:00pm and being tired after a long flight, it took us a while to figure out that there is a telephone at the door that calls the front desk. We could see the front desk, but no one was there. We had a few needs once we got there (bedding for the pullout couch, extra towels) and Everytime we went to the front desk, we had to use the lobby telephone to get the desk attendant to come out of her back room where you could hear a TV. Other than that, the hotel served us well.

Graduation

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Location: Went to grand canyon university for a commencement ceremony.
The over all amenities were good except for the bed which was too soft as well as the pillows. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and very kinds. Staff also was very inviting and warm which made our stay good. I would come back and stay again.

Good value for the price

Posted Oct 12, 2016
The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. It was clean and the room was spacious, but dated. My family and I were traveling to the area and was going to arrive after 2 am. I was able to get 2 queen beds with a sofa to accomodate 3 adults and 2 small children. The beds were fine, but the sofa was low to the floor. We made do by making up the sofa without opening up the bed. The breakfast was adequate and the breakfast area was clean.

Highway noise all night long

Posted Sep 19, 2016
This hotel sits right on the highway. You can hear highway noise all night long, 18 wheelers, traffic...it's awful. Couldn't sleep, waste of money. The actual inside of the hotel was nice, clean, comfortable. But none of that really mattered, I needed a place to sleep. This wasn't it.

Good & bad stay

Posted Aug 31, 2016 on Hotels
Rooms with 2 queen beds & mini kitchenette are quite spacious. Convenient area to shop & eat. The downside to this hotel is there are some questionable characters that hang out behind the hotel, on the bench in front and across the street. We had a run in with 1 of them sneaking into the hotel. They need to beef up their security to full time not 3 nts a week. The front desk clerks need to stay at desk at night & not in the back doing laundry,
