Great staff but no guest appreciation

Posted Nov 18, 2016
There were no incentives or appreciation for guests. I did not receive or experience any. I had a late flight and didn't check in until after 9p. All of the facilities were already closed. I did not use the pool but was looking forward to relaxing in the sauna. It was broke my entire stay. However, I was charged a resort fee every night. Just to be there it seems. There is no transportation from the resort to anywhere. That was my fault for not reasearching that. I rented a car. There is no complimentary breakfast, lunch nor dinner. Nothing at all. I enjoyed the spa, the employees were very gracious and friendly but it is overpriced. I have been to many spas so it is fair for me to say. However I'm naive not to understand overcharging vacationers occurs often. The location of the resort was beautiful. Great area. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant, Flourish was excellent. I ate breakfast one day and lunch another. The fitness center was standard but there was chewed gum and garbage in the cup holders and closing at 8p is too early. I was disappointed but I did learn from the experience and now I know more research is necessary for my next vacation.

We are sorry to hear that you experienced these issues during your stay. We are proud of our secluded desert location, although it does pose a challenge as well, as we are a short distance from restaurants and shopping.

Amazing view of FountainHills

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Cons: Furniture old and didn't match the updated decor. Hard to see the amazing view from the iron railings on balcony, glass would be an improvement.
Location: Sedona AZ (the red rock city 2hrs drive) is breathtaking!
Impressive Hotel & Resort on the hill with view of the Fountain Hills city & park with a fountain. Very quick drive to the waterfront for eating out or a walk. Hotel gave us an upgrade and $25 daily food/drink credit. Hotel staff very friendly! Room comfy and balcony very spacious.

Perfect place for a getaway!

Posted Nov 3, 2016
Pros: The condition, the facilities and the staff were top notch!
Cons: Not much to complain about. The hotel is aged a bit but other than that exceptional.
Location: Tennis, Tennis Tennis! Fountain Hills is a growing community

Lovely resort stay

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Location: Location was quite removed from any town area. Go see the fountain in Fountain Hills (can also be seen from the lap pool area of the hotel)
The hotel/resort was beautiful and always clean. The staff were very friendly and helped us with our every need. The amenities at the resort were plentiful, the gym was huge and looked brand new, the pools were spotless and the restaurant was fabulous. It was a great location that gets you outside the city buzz and into a relaxed and serene atmosphere. The only downfall is that it is quite out of the way of any major city (Scottsdale, Phoenix) so renting a car is recommended...we learned this the hard way with too much $ spent on Uber. It would have been nice if they had a shuttle into Fountain Hills restaurant & shopping area or even to Scottsdale. Unfortunately there seems to be no such thing as transit.

Fitness tennis golf views close to mayo clinic

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Location: East of Phoenix not far easy in for the airport . There is golf a real nice nice course the resort has nine tennis courts I believe full spa, AAAA
Better than the four seasons in Scottsdale any day only needs some sort of room service menu and a bigger menu for more than a three nite stay I'm sure they will get that going .easy to find lovely location excellent happy hour and restaurant, staff is personable , the spa is excellent well priced and the technicians are very well trained, they have health foods at the fitness center nine tennis courts a free form resort pool it's heated by the way a full view of fountain hills the resort faces east so u and ur room donot cook in the heat all the time the pools are heated there is a full lap pool and a hot waterfall hot tub , the staff around the resort will do anything to accommodate you and this is my second stay it will be my go to for all my mayo trips I have no need to go anywhere else it definitely works and the staff remember your name what you like for snap and drinks they will tell you of any specials just in case but this place is a hit! It's east side of phoenix and is quiet at nite the valley lit up is hard to beat wayway better than four seasons

Location: We did sight seeing in northern AZ. I'd probably stay somewhere north of Phoenix next time.
Nice and quiet. Very low key. Nice pool staff. Very accommodating to us. Big thank you to Austin and Brandon working the pool bar.
