Stayed here several years ago and loved it, so we went back and definitely disappointed. Tried to get drinks at the bar in the evening, ordered twice waited over 1 hour and never received a single drink so we got up and left. Wanted to purchase a bottle of water in the evening (8 pm) but the only bar that sold water was already closed. So extremely limited on being able to provide things. Ordered ice to our room (because there are no ice machines) and that never arrived. Paid extra for a mountain view room, but had to look over the condo's that were directly in front of our room to see the mountain to the side. Tried to get customer services at the front desk with NO resolution.. just every departments seemed to not really care honestly. Hotel and room were okay, nothing special for the cost for sure.

The hotel was lit too much to see the stars. That was the whole reason we stayed there. We were very disappointed about this. We also had our handicap pacecard stolen from our vehicle and the valet told us there are no cameras in the back where the handicap is. That definitely doesnt sound like the resort cares about safety,

All was great with the stay, but super frustrating to have to ask and then the front desk acted like they were doing me a favor by giving what I paid for. All in all the property is great and would stay here again,view and location all are top notch. Frustrating that the check in process tainted the rest of the stay. Hope this is a one off experience any your stay is amazing, as it very well could be.

Great property although our room was on the main floor and felt a bit like the basement, the pool area was great and general condition of the facility was good. Staff was inexperienced but friendly. In general it felt very understaffed from bar to restaurant. Website says they have pool service but in 3 days at the pool there was none. All in all we would stay there again as it is quiet and close to good hiking.

Giles an assistant manager made sure that we were welcomed and had a beautiful birthday. In fact all staff were great. Really made my wife’s birthday. Excellent aces to the McDowell monuntain trail system. Beautiful views of Fountain Hills. Pool and fitness center could not be better. Enjoyed the pickleball as well. All in a enjoyable experience

We were concerned because of some poor reviews in the months prior to our stay. We were so delighted with the property, room, and the staff. A beautiful resort with responsive and competent staff.

Room was not bad, but 6th floor doesn't allow for the darkness you need to see stars as they boost for a dark skies location and a mechanical buzz is noticeable ALL NIGHT LONG. Spa facilities were sub-par but massage artist was GReat. More if a high end hotel than resort feel.

Gorgeous views, quiet and great food. Perfect for a romantic getaway. A couple of misses on room service, but nothing major. Difficult to get cabs/uber to get into town, so you will want to reserve ahead of time.

The staff was overworked and complained, out loud, to guests, as they should have. I heard, "I have no clean glasses to serve guests." One manager was rude to his staff. The wait was terrible. 20 mins for a drink?! Several staff members complained to me about a manager that was touching his staff. A woman that I was at the pool with said this same manager said to her very inappropriate things that I can't write on this review. I will never return to this resort, which is sad because the view is beautiful and the staff deserve more.

The location and view from the hotel are amazing. The hotel has potential to be really great but it seemed like the staff weren’t up to the task of making the place a 5 star. In our room the fireplace didn’t work and there was nothing they could offer but a room without a view and fireplace on the other side of the resort. They did give us a coupon for the continental breakfast for 2, compensation. They did eventually move us to a comparable room the next day. I had to go to the lobby desk as I called and after waiting 10 minutes on hold, I hung up and decided to ask in person about the options for another room. They didn’t call and offer it up, I had to go ask for a move. I ordered fries and a sprite for my son at the pool, took an hour to get the fries after asking a couple of times where they were. It seemed like there was a lack of leadership to direct the younger staff on hand.

Firat of all, the facility is beautiful and we're very satisfied with stay. It has a nice ambience. Parking and check-in were very efficient, seamless and trouble-free, which was much appreciated. The room was very clean and we could tell the staff took pride in what they do. Again, very satisfied and would not hesitate to stay here again, and probably will.

We enjoyed the amazing views from so many different viewpoints. Our balcony felt private enough to enjoy the serenity. The restaurant dining by the expansive windows and the outdoor pool and hot tub area also had great views. The spa was very nice and our facials were a great experience. The highlight for us, though, was the very kind woman who brought room service. When she learned we were celebrating our 40th anniversay, she had a lovely gift put in our room. Icing on the cake! We spent time at the resort, and also went to some favorite places, like the Desert Botanical Garden and Fountain Hills park. We would recommend ADERO Scottsdale to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

This property is a little out of the way but worth it for the beautiful views. The room are spacious and comfortable. Everything is well designed here and we would stay here again.

The view of the sunset from the terrace by the pool, sitting outside with drinks, was worth the trip from Chicago alone. I loved the location on the top of the mountain with views all around. The bathroom in the suite room was also one of my favorite hotel bathrooms ever, with a large tub and large shower. The on site restaurant was beautiful, we had dinner there when all the holiday decorations had just been put out the day before. One small setback was at the coffee/smoothie bar, the food items were not available, only coffee and 1 smoothie flavor, but then it was available again on the morning we were checking out. The other thing I would say is be prepared to pay a daily fee to park your rental car at the hotel, but overall this was a beautiful hotel.
