Misleading in one wordPosted Oct 24, 2015
I called twice confirming room and location I even asked any changes ? And each question was followed by a cover up. When my wife and I got there , after hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, we were looking forward to peace and quite with clean rooms and refreshing aroma this was not the case the place is under construction with all that brings ever had a construction crew redoing your kitchen while you still in your home. Two thumbs down. Poor service

Could have been really nice if not for renovationsPosted Oct 7, 2015
Pros: Location (quiet), view (scenic), price.
Cons: Better disclosure about on-going renovations. AC in room worked in annoying cycles of no air (too warm) or an icy wind, and sure enough I got a cold.
Location: Restaurants, pharmacies, fountain. Not much to see but the pool was nice.
At the time of our visit (end of sept. 15), major parts of the resort was under construction. The features remaining were the outside pool (with bar) and the gym. Everything else was closed. Thus, no spa, not hot tub, no breakfast, no restaurant etc. which was a shame. However the price was low and might have reflected on those missing amenities, some of which made me choose the hotel in the first place. Other than that, it was comfortable enough. The nearby town of Fountain Hills had everything we needed, which was a plus with no open on-site restaurant.

Away from everything. Need a car to stay here.Posted Oct 6, 2015
I would not recommend this resort for any international guests. Or to any guests without a car/rental car. There is no information in the rooms about the facilities available, even little things like how to use the phone or what time things close/open. The resturant was also shut for renovations and we were only told on check in. We had a nice stay but it definitely could have been improved on with better communication.

Amenities Close Way Too EarlyPosted Jul 26, 2015
Nice location for total isolation and relaxation. Pool closes way too early, kind of got the feeling that it's more for an older crowd. Beautiful landscape. Great views overall but just didn't quite feel welcome by other members/guests. They looked at us really weird like we had orange hair or something.
