Noisy on rainy days

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Everything was perfect except it was raining and you can literally hear every rain drop hit the roof. I don't think the rooms are well insulated, you can hear other people's talking and like I mention what kept us awake was the noise of the rain hitting the roof. In my personal opinion they need to insulate the rooms for a more comfortable stay.

Great price and location

Posted Feb 14, 2017
Pros: Price, location, amenities
Cons: Hotel wing(s) are ready for a refresh.
Location: Scottsdale
In Scottsdale for a few days and just needed a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay. Great freeway access and plenty of nearby outdoor activities. Lobby and breakfast areas are remodeled nice. Very accommodating for a limited-mobility traveler.

Great location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to Phoenix open was the perk and both drivers absolutely awesome. Breakfests were just what you need to start your day. Room was very spacious. We will come back.

Dirty hotel close to were I needed to be

Posted Jan 27, 2017
Pros: close to Westword Barrett Jackson auction where I was for 4 days
Cons: replace the carpet for one
Location: location is good
Looks good on the outside, but inside my room, the carpet had so many stains on it, it was disgusting. The light in the shower only works part time, you need to keep resetting the receptacle. My first day while I was gone, someone went thru my luggage, I am glad I took all my valuables with me.

You get what you pay for

Posted Jan 13, 2017
Pros: Close to area attractions, relatively inexpensive compared to surrounding hotels.
Cons: Rooms definitely need to be updated with newer furnishings, bed covers, paint and removal of the "popcorn" ceilings.
Location: Close to area attractions such as Salt River Fields, Talking Stick, Top Golf, Butterfly Attraction and new Aquarium.
Was looking for an inexpensive hotel near Salt River Fields and Top Golf. Found one. The hotel staff were okay - not overly friendly - desk clerk's accent was a little hard to understand at check-in. Room was decent - furnishings very dated - bed and pillows were comfortable but not luxurious by any standard. If all you need is a place to spend the night, this was fine. If you're looking for something a little more comfy I would definitely spend the extra and stay at Talking Stick. I didn't take advantage of free breakfast, pool, hot tub or fitness center so cannot comment on those amenities.
