Great staff & wonderful breakfasts

We love Embassy Suites! The staff were courteous and helpful. Easy access to main roads and area attractions made getting around a breeze. We highly recommend this hotel- a good value with spacious rooms and amenities!

Not Your Normal Embassy Suites

Posted Nov 7, 2015 on Hotels
If you are expecting the normal nice Embassy Suites, don't. This seemed to be an old motel complex that they tried updating to be an Embassy Suites. The rooms are accessed through the outside (like motels) and there are no rooms in the main registration area, only the breakfast/lounge area and a restaurant. The rooms were clean, but outdated. We specifically requested a room with a sofa bed and were assured all rooms had sofa beds (like normal Embassy Suites). When we got to our room, there was no sofa bed. I called down to the front desk and the manager kept asking me if I was sure there was no sofa bed. I'm positive I couldn't miss a sofa bed in the room. Finally she realized she had put us in a room that adjoined to another so there was, in fact, no sofa bed. They did send someone with keys for a new room. We were along the biggest portion of the motel section, which unfortunately ran parallel with the freeway. This is a busy freeway with traffic at all hours. If you plan to stay, ask for a room on the interior of the complex. Overall I was disappointed for the price we paid. We did drive by another hotel that was on our list for this trip, which was actually slightly cheaper, and I would have hands down stayed there over the Embassy Suites.

Will Always Stay Here When I Visit Tempe

Posted Nov 6, 2015 on Hotels
Fantastic staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, clean room and nice pool and hot tub. Parking was easy and location was safe. Will always use Embassy for all future trips to Tempe. Am tempted to use Embassy for ALL travel!

Easy

They really just made everything pretty easy for us. Very accommodating, for the most part. Did not fulfill room request but it was not a huge deal.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender was able to get exactly what I wanted on my meal choices and I did not need to send back to the kitchen.

A bit disappointed for an Embassy Suites

Posted Oct 22, 2015 on Hotels
We were staying due to a baseball tournament. I didn't care for the way the hotel was set up. Much different from any other Embassy Suites. The lobby and bar was very nice, but I found the rooms and property older and very unattractive. Landscaping was dry and non-existent. The rooms were not secure and dark in the evenings without lighting. Staff was pleasant, I was just a bit disappointed. Not my usual Embassy Suites experience. Thank you

We have to buy car air fresheners to put on the vent of the room, because the room smelt awful.
