Don't stay at Embassy Suites!!!

Posted Mar 27, 2017
My sister and I had reservations at Embassy Suites. Our plane was delayed so got to hotel around 11:00 pm. Exhausted, we checked in and we were told to park in back of building and use back door. Door was locked, walk all the way back with suitcases because of limited parking. Man at front desk was surprised. Went up to our room and door was locked, keys did not work. Went back to front desk and came back up with a maintenance man.He came up tried to unlock door and door was locked from inside. Walk to elevator went down and walked to other side of hotel to new room. After over an hour of waiting and walking around with confused staff we finally got into a room. My sister and I were very dissatisfied with the service and was told by staff to contact Expedia for compensation. Please contact the above email. Thank you.

Expedia and Embassy Suites had a miscommunication about the number of nights we were staying. We paid Expedia for 3 nights and Embassy Suites only had us registered for two. Embassy Suites locked us out of our room and initially charged for the third night. We thankfully got that resolved the next day and checked out without additional charges. Upon returning home, I discovered my credit card was compromised and I had a number of fraudulent charges. Fortunately, I checked my card activity, found the fraud, and cancelled the card. The only place my card was used on the entire Phoenix trip was at Embassy Suites. While it is entirely circumstantial, it seems possible that someone on the Embassy Suites staff may have sold or given my card information to the people who committed the fraud. Overall not a great experience. This is the last time I will book travel with Expedia.

Overpriced and dated

Posted Mar 18, 2017
They lost our original reservation. Then put us in a room with a very dated bathroom that was dirty. Their beds are doubles vs queens as advertised. Very uncomfortable. This property charges you an additional $10 per day to park. Parking lot is too small. Pool area is under major construction and nobody told us prior to reservations. It may be ready by the end of Summer. Biggest ripoff I've ever had in hundreds of stays in hotels across the US.

The front desk and valet were not helpful at all.

Posted Feb 22, 2017
The valet was not even there so I had to use the cart and take my stuff to the room. Which is fine for 100 buck a night but not a 250 per night across from the biltmore .... if I wanted to stay at a motel I would have

Have stayed in Embassy Suites before. Thought this one was just mediocre. Breakfast was very good though. I don't recall paying for parking at other locations either, although that may have changed. Rooms were clean.

Nice, clean, convenient hotel.

Pros: Nice amenities, clean and excellent complimentary breakfast
Cons: My room faced the highway and as a result, there was more road noise that I would have liked.
Very nice, clean and professionally staffed hotel.
