Good value in good location

Positives: Value, location, staff, breakfast included, great trail just outside the door Considerations: small pool, rooms are dated but w be wonderful once renovations done, very loud when doors are shut, rooms sized for 2-3 max. i'd stay here again, especially once renovations done.

Hotel needs reconditioning

Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly, and accommodating
Our experience at Holiday Inn Express has always been very good. However, our recent stay at the one in Peoria was disappointing. The carpets need to be replaced throughout the hotel. They look worn and not very clean. We heard that renovation might be underway soon. Glad to hear that, because it is needed.

Great breakfast

Front desk staff was nice but could not figure out how to split payment. Room was okay, attention to detail was not there. Food on the wall, fridge too cold, something on the wall by the toilet (one can only guess what it was) yuck!

right off highway

Pros: Clean and nice room. Braekfast was served until 10:00 am which is nice for late risers.
Hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The front desk person was extremely helpful I had a late flight leaving town and he allowed me to stay until 2:00 pm for a late checkout.

$25.00 charge with no notice!!!!!

I would rate this hotel a solid 4 but they changed my card $25.00 and wasn't told that they were going to charge it and refund it after the stay it's been 3 days now and no refund yet.

Hotel is u nder going renovations. I'm sure it will be much better when it is completed. Rooms are old carpet is worn and the bathrooms are dated. Their hot breakfast was a joke.

Pleasantly surprised

I got a great deal on this stay through the Hotels.com app. The front staff was very pleasant and talkative (but not too much). There were cookies baked for the residents in the evening, which we did not partake in but I thought was a nice touch. My room was comfortable with a king sized bed and a comfy chair and ottoman. I was slightly disappointed with the shower but it certainly did it's job. I had a fridge and microwave in this room, which was incredibly convenient for me.

Roseanne was great! She is friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped in the door until we checked out. I even booked a future stay because of her primarily. The facility is clean, well maintained and I felt safe there.

The stay is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Breakfast choices were good, not just the typical donuts and coffee.
