The swimming pool was not heated. As a matter of fact, if you through in a bag of ice cubes, they wouldn't melt. The spa was not working because they were waiting for parts. When you don't want to fix something, your waiting for parts. P.S. The bed is great if your greatest desire is to wake up with severs back pain.

Honestly, pretty good place for the price. Free Breakfast, lobby was clean, some trash debris out front but might have came in from the wind. The area isn’t the best but the hotel was good. Homeless people in the area but didn’t feel unsafe or bothersome. For that part of phoenix that’s what you’re paying for so overall expected the experience I had.

Bathroom was really run down and grubby. Grout was filthy, sink drained slowly, and there were stains on the carpet. Neighborhood felt sketchy.

The property was in disrepair. It is in an area right off the freeway. There were panhandlers on every corner, people sleeping under trees right on the gravel. Dumpster divers were hanging out next to the facility, and when I went to get soft drinks at the Jack In the Box, there were drug addicts. I saw a zombie. They exist!

Of the three hotels I’ve stayed at in Phoenix, this was the best one. Staff were nice, especially the breakfast hostess. My room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, but could have had more fruit options than just apples. The only issues I had are that the elevator is the only way up or down. And seemed slow, if there were a lot of people staying there, the wait would be longer. The stairs were designated for emergencies only. And while there seemed to be a lot of parking, at night it was completely filled and difficult to find a spot while there were several spaces close to the hotel that were blocked off. It didn’t seem like the hotel had as many people staying there as there were cars in the lot. I also liked that the front door was locked at night but you could enter with your room key. I will probably stay here again as it was somewhat close to, and easy to get to and from GCU.

AC unit was 2 feet from the bed with vent facing directly on you. Face was cold but rest of the room was warm. Shower drain was clogged and took 30 to drain.

Upon arrival, I was not greeted. I stood at the front desk for five minutes before I was acknowledged. The two front desk ladies were both equally rude and lacked hospitable demeanor. Both of them admitted to “not being employed there long enough to know what to do,” so I asked for someone who did. The manager came out to assist and barely greeted me as well. He didn’t explain what he was doing just that it was “an old system.” He did accommodate me better than his employees, however immediately after I left, I turned around to find all three of them laughing and smirking with one another. Safe to say I will not be returning.

Lots of stains on my carpet. It needed a good shampoo or carpet replacement. The free breakfast was typical, but at least the coffee was good. Other than the carpet, the room was clean and well kept.

They changed me a $100 deposit because i used Expedia and I prepaid online. I was told it takes 7 days to get my deposit back. Also lots of homeless in the parking lost next door.

First thing you noticed are all the homeless people around the property. The hotel building looks nice from the outside. The rooms are nice and spacious. Everything was cleaned. The only thing bad was the old stained carpet. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
