Spent five wonderful days visiting family who lived very close by in Phoenix. Though construction was ongoing, staff made the stay exceptional. Great breakfast every morning.

Not a good stay for me. So much construction

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: The staff were very friendly and gave me free ice cold bottled water whenever I asked for it. The breakfast was better than I thought it would be.
Cons: The improvements are taking place now.
Location: The location was pretty good. There were places to eat and shop within walking distance.
The entire hotel is under construction. I thought the construction was complete was complete when I booked. Nope. The room I was given was way in the back in the section not renovated. The decor was old and outdated, beds sagged tremendously in the middle, the bathtub had a leak that dripped all night, the mirrored sliding doors on the closets were broken and hard to open to reach the ironing board, iron, and the suitcase holder, the lamp in the bedroom did not work as well as a few of the outlets, and in the morning at 7 am banging began. I was awaken each morning of my stay at 7 am from banging. I did make the staff aware and they said they would look into it, but the banging continued the following morning. After the renovations the hotel will be nicer, but don't stay here until then. I had to navigate through dusty areas filled with building materials on my way to my room, breakfast room, pool, etc. Surprisingly my room was dust free even with all of the construction. I loved the Neutrogena products on the vanity and the water pressure was excellent.

We stayed here because of the kitchen, and we were unable to use it during a large part of our stay due to a water shut off for construction due to the hotel's re-model.

Nice place to stay

We only stayed two nights but found the hotel to be clean and tidy. The staff were nice, and the neighborhood fairly quiet. We had an enjoyable time, and will stay here again.

Nice hotel, good location

Posted May 1, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness of staff, location
Cons: Cigarette smell
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Very clean and super friendly staff. We had a suite which was really nice and comfortable. The pool area is nice, and well maintained. The only complaint would be the smell of cigarette smoke in certain areas of the hotel. Very strong smell on the main level by the elevator and in the lounge area by the back doors. Other than that, the hotel is great!

Will Stay Here Again

Came to Phoenix for Dance Convention in downtown. Easy 10 min drive via surface streets to downtown. Great eateries across street--Snooze, Hop Doddys. Container Store (fabulous) across street too. Like separate room for toilet/shower. Good breakfast in common area (eggs not runny). Very enjoyable stay.
