Yikes time sharesPosted Jan 26, 2016
Pros: the rooms were nice and two guys at the front desk were nice but that lady at the front desk just couldn't be bothered!!
Cons: give the front desk some golf information...since it is a golf resort!!!
Location: lots to eat and shop
upon checking in by a really nice guy, we were sent to the concierges to get our parking pass or was it to get time shared bombed! at check in. then we cam back to get the golf course info and the front desk at a golf resort didn't have any golf related information neither did the concierges!!! Parking was very limited and you had to walk a very long way to your rooms... We decided on this hotel because it had a bar, restaurant and Jacuzzi... only to find out that the bar and restaurant all closed at 7pm and the Jacuzzi was being worked on. ....ahhhh...really. they should tell people this in their advertising.

Nice Condo with a long walkPosted Jan 20, 2016
We were in bldg 7 during our stay. No parking close to building at all. It is at least a 10 minute walk to and from your car. Yes they offer a ride if you go to the office and ask but that's a huge pain! Nice condo and very quiet. Would stay again but only on bldg number less than 4.

A timeshare hotel in disguisePosted Jan 19, 2016
Pros: Nice rooms, clean
Cons: Parking nearer rooms, no time share sale, bar/restaurant open
Location: Nothing is very close by except golf course. Not near central Scottsdale or other "tourist" locations
This is a nice facility. Older condo style units that are clean and nicely maintained. There are quite a few "cons" to note: Parking is very inconvenient for much of the facility Concierge desk not helpful Housekeeping is only about twice a week Resort is in a location that is not within walking distance to amenities such as restaurants or entertainment Hotel restaurant closes at 7 pm--so returning for a meal after an off-site day of activities is very difficult Biggest con: They try and sell you a timeshare when you register--typical timeshare and even if you try and decline, must sit through a 5 minute sales pitch before they will give you a parking pass.

Very Nice HotelPosted Jan 18, 2016
Pros: Very organized, and the staff was awesome. Loved just walking around. Very quiet.
Cons: The Fitness center was extremely dull! I was very surprised that as big and beautiful as the hotel was,the fitness center was smaller than my basement
I was very impressed by the hotel. Very clean and the staff was amazing. Much bigger than I had anticipated! The view is great as well. It can be a long walk from your hotel room to your car or the front office, but if you give the main office a call they send out a car to pick you up, making it very convenient to get around. The only negative thing I found was the Fitness center (gym). It was a big disappointment, especially considering how great everything else was. I've been in very cheap hotels with much much bigger fitness centers. Overall, I would definitely recommend!!

Too Many InterruptionsPosted Jan 16, 2016
Cons: What can be improved: staff should only call the room phone in case of emergency, guests are not your captive audience.
Place is very clean but dated. Would have been nicer if there weren't so many phone calls and messages from the staff about joining their "vacation club" and other maintenance. I called and asked that a "do not disturb" be put on my room phone, but was told they can't do that! Guess they want to guarantee access to you at any time for their sales efforts. Only buildings 1 through 4 (about half the property) are close to parking, and everything on the 2nd floor is accessed via outdoor stairs. Also, apparently the only restaurant on property is privately owned, and it closes when there is bad weather (since there are fewer golfers). Staff promises an upcoming renovation, so I wouldn't stay here until at least 2017 when that's all done. Until then, all the problems will undoubtedly be answered with excuses and promises of what's coming.

Older HotelPosted Jan 7, 2016
Pros: Size of room and bathroom
Cons: The whole room could use updating
The location is good and the room was big and open but needs updating. The shades on the window allow to much light in when trying to sleep. Overall a good value for the money but nothing special about the place.

No wifiPosted Jan 4, 2016
It was a good room..planned on watching some movies from my tablet but there was no wifi in my room!! The hotel said it offers free wifi, which was one of the reasons why I chose this place..but no..no wifi. Lame! Would consider some place else if you're trying to have tech going in your room..shower wasn't as good as it looked either
