Bucket List Stay
Posted Jul 9, 2016 on Hotels
Bucket list item to finally stay at the Buttes. Having come to Phoenix for Spring Training for the past 10 years, I've always wanted to say there. Overall the facility is nice, it's worth it just for the pool alone. Incredible, but good luck finding a chair on a weekend day. I was a bit disappointed in the room. Seemed quite dated, very 1980s, and odd layout. Not much of a view from the rooms facing out, unless you like watching the freeway go by. I was also a little taken aback by what seemed like a 'party' atmosphere on Saturday night. Lots of loud, younger people, your basic tattooed out trucker hat swiging energy drinks all day crowd. The smell of weed hit us every time we would walk into the hall. I tried to watch a cool lighting storm from the 5th floor balcony, and couldn't breathe with all the cigarette smoke. I guess the offseason rates and the incredible setting has that affect. The restaurants are bar are top notch, service was great, and the setting amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I always appreciate hearing feedback from our guests as it helps us to constantly improve and be better. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed our unique property and were able to take advantage of our great amenities. We do offer rooms on the resort side of the hotel. This would help so that you do not face the freeway and will allow you to look at natural landscaping. I will be sharing your comments with the appropriate staff so that we can make the necessary changes needed in order to improve. Our staff takes great pride in the work they do, so I will also be sure to share with the staff your comments regarding our service.
